I'm still forming an opinion of Spice Runner, so I might change this review later.
Biggest pro: classic English/SA/Australian meat pies. This is the first place so far that I have found them in Houston (I'm sure there might be others), but beyond offering them in store, they also offer 2 packs of frozen pies in-store.
The rice bowls/curries are also pretty good, but I felt lacked a little bit of service appearance. I would (and have) go back but need to try more of the menu before I can fully make up my mind.

The food was healthy with good portions and extremely tasty. The staff was nice. The menu is really flexible. The beef is tender and the flavors of the soup and bowls were excellent. Went there with two women who raved about the vegetable noodles they had.
