Shipley's Donuts

Came here before heading to the Hershey park trails nearby. The cashier was very nice and helpful to the other customers, Super clean environment with shiny tile floors, deliciously soft and puffy donut variety, as well! I got a fun, happy New Year's donut that probably took a lot of time to decorate! I don't understand why people give them 4 stars on here when the rating goes to 5?

We've been coming here for years it's standard for Saturday or Sunday morning food. Sometimes via the drive-thru sometimes walking in just depends. The place is always clean and bustling with business. Will always get the kolaches they're always fresh and super hot. The value is there and we will be coming here for years to come.

There was just 1 guy running the whole place when I got there, so it took 5-10 minutes for him to even pop open the drive-thru window I was waiting at... also a little annoyed that they charged me almost $4 for a can of Monster Energy that's no more than $3 anywhere else... good things about this visit: my kolaches were excellent as they always are at Shipley's. Also, they have a nice, clean restroom at this location (I had sat in my car in the parking lot to eat after ordering at the drive thru window, then went in to use the facilities afterward).

Went in today with my husband. The earl sausage and cheese was probably the best quality kolache I've ever had from a Shipley's. It was warm and the bread was just slightly crispy and soft. My chocolate filled donut also had the most chocolate in it that I've EVER had from any Shipley's (and trust me, I've been to many Shipley's). A lot of Shipley's will be extremely stingy with the chocolate, sometimes they'll put just enough to make it look like some is coming out and then you realize that was it after you take a bite. The only small complaint was that there weren't too many options in terms of donuts, but we did go at 2pm so that is completely understandable. I wish I lived closer to this Shipley's!
