My first time in Houston and we Came here for the Queens brunch. Drag show was great! Buffet food was great! Service was great! Flight of mimosas was great! Everything was great! 10/10 recommend!!!!

I decided to visit this place because I was meeting up with some out of town relatives and this would be all of our first time attending this establishment. I would start off by saying that I read a lot of the reviews and I was very skeptical but I like to form my own opinion of things. If you are going to visit this establishment and are looking to make reservations I would recommend you make them online but call before you do because they have several time stipulations pertaining to your reservation. Also, there's apparently a dress code but I couldn't find it online anywhere and you should inquire ahead of time for that as well. When I arrived there was quite a bit of parking available and free since it was early and on a Sunday. When we made it to the door, the doorman was slightly rude when he asked one of our ladies in our party to remove her hat as we were unaware of any dress code. We had reservation and were seated within 2 minutes of our entering on the outside area. Our waitress was very polite and knowledgeable of the menu. I never seen her write down anything we asked for and no one had any issues with their order. The drinks were great but I think some of the food items could have been more flavorful. The music was great and so was the atmosphere. The only downside of our experience was the flies outside. They were huge like they just left the gym. š I think this establishment has much more potential and probably needs to be a little more forward when it comes to their requirements so that customers can have the best experience possible. I enjoyed and I definetly plan on returning.

I am a little biased in this review as Chapman & Kirby hosted my company event; however, the service was excellent and I adored the design of the place. Some drinks were better than others but otherwise an excellent time. Iām interested to come back with my boyfriend on our own. The food they had for us was great as well!

We went for Memorial Day weekend. The lines outside were long but it was moving fast. I think we waited probably about 25 minutes outside in the heat. Who waited for about 7 to 10 minutes at the bar to get a drink. I got one of the waitress attention, she kind of brushed me off and we waited for another one. There should be more waitresses behind the bar for every section of the bar. It was a very hot and overcrowded place with really good music. I love how the DJ switched it up, from hip hop music to R&B music to a little bit of gospel music for Sunday Funday. It was just a really nice mixture of music in the drinks or good but it was just too hot. A lot of us was Dripping with sweat. I would suggest bringing a personal little fan

Came here as a last stop while on vacation, it was such a vibe. We had brunch and it was sooo good. My entire group loved our food. And the service was awesome.

Josh was amazingggg, I mean great personality and great energy. I wanted a fruity cocktail, and I informed him of what I like and he definitely made it happen. Also, compliments to the chef, I had the ribeye steak (medium) mashed potatoes and broccoli and it was soooo good. Iād highly recommend if youāre visiting Houstonš

Chapman and Kirby is rocking! Great menu, bar, atmosphere, and the vibe is so cool. Thanks to Chapman and Kirby for hosting the Houston Concierge Association. It was amazing and because I am now familiar with them I am able to direct guests from the Hilton-Americas Hotel. I recently seated a group of 22 ladies who absolutely enjoyed every bit of the experience. My personal thanks to Mgr. Abby Mejia all her assistance, and a shout out to the Bartender Blake for his amazing cocktails! See you soon!

I have been here 3 times already. It REALLy is the 1#SPOT for brunch on a SUNDAY. The food is great, the wait staff are TOP notch. Security is buff and carrying. I enjoy it here. Today, DRIP energy was debuting their Energy drink. I enjoy it here. The vibe is flowing. DJ knows how to set them Vibe. Beautiful Men and women. Everyone dressed well!! If you fly into Houston, VISIT.

My favorite spot in Houston. We went on a Sunday afternoon, which Iāve heard is the best day to party in Houston. The DJ was solid, the space is inviting, you can go from outside to inside and thereās still people everywhere dancing. Iāve noticed in Houston, thereās not so much intermingling, people mostly stay with the crowd that they came with but here I thought it was at least a little different where youāre able to meet people which is always what Iām looking to do when traveling. Good service, highly recommend. Canāt comment on the food, but I think itās mostly chicken and wings from what I saw on others table.

Was here celebrating my Birthday. The food was good. The service and the atmosphere was great. Jade, was our server and she was awesome. She has a great attitude and bubbly personality. She was attentive and very present while she was servicing us. The atmosphere is fun and contagious. We'll definitely be back.

Was it the Astros win last night or is this spot always this incredible?!! I mean the music had me forgetting I where I was it was such THE VIBE! My son and I literally had the best dinner too, highly recommend the ceviche, beef/chicken nachos & the ahi tuna tower was my favorite! My first time going to Eado & it was so much more than I even hoped for thank yāall for an awesome timeš¤©š„šāØ

Came here for date night and Ana was so nice and pleasant. She recommended the Brisket tacos and fries. She did NOT disappoint. The brisket fries are the best thing on the menu. The tacos had so much flavor and were homemade tortillas. I ordered the 12 oz Sirloin with Whipped mashed potatoās and truffle fries - everything was great. Husband had the Nashville hot sandwich and he was full when it came out but said it was good. Both of us had margaritas (he had the Smokey one and I had the Eado one). There was a nice amount of liquor inside. Overall the venue is beautiful. So much space and we happen to come in before the Saturday crowd. We will be back!

Great Service and ambiance! Inviting East End residents to try this new place. I ubered thinking about parking, however, place offers valet parking. Please Ask for the Mescal cocktail, it is really really good. Also my group was fortunate to have the Chef visit our table and offered to prepare a delicate sampler board with tapas size items that included grill to perfection salmon, Glazed Brussels sprouts, ceviche, shredded pork mini taco, potatos. - the flavors were amazing and the quantity great to share with cocktails among friends. I definitely will go back from one of those boards.
Music is high beat after 10pm, so for me happy hour and early dinner will work best. I'm keeping this place in mind for business networking, business gatherings and other events. They rent spaces. Definitely recommend!

Just celebrated my birthday there last Friday. Communication was a little slow for a second but was able to get what I needed when I needed it. Service was incredible. Heather and Landry were amazing and so accommodating. The hostess was super friendly as well. Now all of my friends want to book their birthday parties there. I recommend reserving your desired area or getting there early if the patio area is your desired destination. My party started at 8:30pm because I planned on taking my party elsewhere around 11pm. Everyone was enjoying themselves so much we stayed and didnāt leave until around 1am. Great place. Thanks for everything C&K.

Rose gold cocktail den is way better. Not for the disrespect they give to their future clients at this chapman and kirby. Displeased overall being a new time visitor. Just like every straight bar their is. The bouncer in this case his name is Omar; they will always taking money bribes to let people in while you stand and look at them doing and not let you in for over an hour of just being at the very front of the line. Its a bar not a club to be having this kind of service. I know the other patrons who waited over an hour will also spread word of this and the reputation of this place wont succeed cause that is what business derive from.

My friends and I came to visit this bar after the Dynamo game on Saturday night Sept 9th. We were a fairly large group, close to 10 people. The door guy and manager turned us away because some of us were wearing shorts and hats. Now mind you, we had just come from the Dynamo game so we were wearing appropriate Dynamo gear, including hats, and because we're in Texas, some were wearing shorts. I tried to explain to the door man and manager, that after everything that has happened recently, they should be working on bringing the community back together rather than drawing divisive lines over shorts and hats. The manager's response was simply "We have a dress code." Leave the dress code rules to the Midtown crowd. And for a bar in East Downtown refusing to serve Dynamo fans, they are missing the mark. It's disappointing because it does look like a beautiful spot, but just because you have industrial decor and Edison light bulbs doesn't give you the right to be a tool.

We are a company from WI who booked a private corporate event (with about 150 people) here at Chapman and Kirby in June of 2018.
From our initial contact with the sales team, inquiring about renting the space, until the final guest walked out the door on Tuesday, the Customer Service we received has been beyond compare. The event lead (Marissa) was a *huge* help in planning and organizing this event, especially as the scope of the event changedā¦..several times! She was always there to answer questions, offer her suggestions for food, our drink menu and even created our signature drinks; all while being conscience of our budget. Chapman and Kirby also has some of the best staff members, from the servers (who were always smiling and super helpful), the bar staff (who were friendly and funny) and the bus staff (who were quick, polite and super hard workers); everyone was hustling all night for our group!! Not to mention the food was outstanding, and we received several compliments on the āspecialtyā drinks!
We had looked at other spaces in the area, and feel very lucky that we decided on Chapman & Kirby. It was the total package of location, facility, food and staff which made our party stand out!!

I was standing with my girl friend outside of the restroom having a talk and out of no where I got grabbed from behind and thrown down to the ground. I realized it was the security of the place and I was so confused. I tried to get him off of me and that only made him more combative. He grabbed my throat with his hand and started choking me. I had no breath in my lungs at this point and I couldn't breathe for my life. A few people tried to help but all the other security kept pushing people away and watched this man choke me on the floor. When we came outside they handcuffed me and kept me outside. I kept asking them what made that man do that and no one could give me an answer. Me and my girl friend are both confused on why the Secuirty bouncer did that! I do not suggest this place at all they treat people like trash. Looks like Mr. Eddie brought his style of Managment at Cle to this place. You learned the wrong things from those people brother.

This bar has become one of the coolest places to hang out around Houston. The bar itself has an amazing collection of alcohol and bartenders. The ambiance created by the decor and the DJ spinning music makes this place cool to bring friends and see beautiful people without being pretentious and snobby like some other spots in Houston. Itās got an awesome outdoor area with lounges and tables for parties.

This is definitely one of my favorite place in Houston now. I came here before they opened for a private birthday party/ pre-opening event and fell in love with the decor. However, I finally got to experience this place after opening and what can you not love? Staff is great, awesome crowd and good music. It's a classy atmosphere and people are genuinely having fun. Loved it and I'm sure it's already a Houston staple.
