We had the teriyaki chicken rice bowl the Thai dynamite and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice had to much sauce or something it wasnt like normal fried rice but everything else was great. I loved the iced green tea they have and they also have a chai tea and soda machine. The service was really great too.

The tuna was supposed to be tossed in a sauce, regardless the polynesian bowl was flavorful. Try with cauliflower rice for an added health benefit.

This is so close to my office. I wished I enjoyed it more. I do like Pei Wei so that isn't the question. I have ate here a few times with good experiences. They are relatively fast, which is good if you are on a lunch hour. I am not as impressed with their take out. The wait times are longer than they suggest. This is not so great when you have hungry Co workers.

Food was good, hot, and fresh. Rice was a little overcooked, but the orange peel chicken made up for it. If you've never been to Pei Wei, it's a counter service Asian Fusion restaurant. It's a pretty big step up in quality from fast food Chinese (like Panda Express), but not the same experience as a traditional table service restaurant. In my opinion, the food is just as good as what I'd find in an Asian place offering a seated dinner service. It just has a different feel. Prices are pretty reasonable.

I found out about Pei Wei through a friend. I was rather new to the whole restaurant scene but my friend was not! She was quite the social butterfly, and very knowledgeable about Houston. She introduced me to dozens of places around town, and one of them was Pei Wei. The place was rather busy when we arrived. I took that as a good sign as a business with lots of customers means they've done a good job of supplying customer demand. Despite the crowd on that first visit, parking was no problem as they share a large lot with CVS, and service was quick. We were able to have a rather private conversation inspite of the hubbub, (or perhaps because of it...its easy to be annoymous when lots of people are there!) and the food was delicious! Appetizers, main courses, and desert and drink choices were plentiful and the prices were reasonable. I particularly liked that they offered various levels of spiciness for their dishes. My native born Texan friend loved the mild or non spicy choices, and I got to enjoy the extra spicy dishes. A win for both of us! We kept coming back over the years and each time we had a great time, good service, and very good foods. Surprisingly, they have good choices for both vegans and vegetarians too, (many restaurants can't really accommodate a true vegan) so one of my vegan friends was able to hang out there with me and it became one of our favorite places to go to, including this week, where we stayed until closing time! The staff have always been friendly and courteous, and I plan to keep enjoying their foods, deserts, and service as long as I'm in Houston.

I love this Pei Wei, the people who work there are always extremely nice. On 7/31 I came in to get food about 2 minutes before the restaurant closed (I misread the close time) and the cashier woman was incredibly nice and did not make any comment about how close it was to closing. She was the pinnacle of great costumer service!

I ordered the steak and shrimp noodle bowl. Hearty spaghetti noodles with slices of tasty steak and pieces of shrimp. The dish had the right amount of spice for my tastebuds. I added splashes of fresh lime juice. Heaven. I ordered a brownie. It was pre-packaged so I thought it would not be tasty. Surprise! It was moist and delicious.

The food is great except the spring rolls here are not what I expected. Other places the spring rolls have fresh vegetables and not fried. Here they are pretty much like an egg roll but its called a spring roll. Not filling and a bit greasy.

We had the Vietnamese chicken salad rolls, crab wontons, lettuce wraps, and teriyaki chicken. The food is always fresh and literally yet filling. One of my favorite places to go
