Review Lucky Village - Houston

Quality price amazing I’d say comparing to other buffet like this one has a smaller selection but focus much more on quality. It’s the first buffet when I like everything I have tried. Amazing service .

The food, the service, and the atmosphere were excellent. My server was so attentive. He was very sweet and helpful. He brought the hand sanitizer to my table. ❤️

We were visiting from Canada. My Uncle suggested this restaurant. Our server, Peter was so friendly and welcoming. He took his time to get to know my family. The food was delicious with plenty to choose from. If we ever return to Houston; we would definitely return. Peter- you need to come visit Toronto or Vancouver!

Weekday lunches are definitely better. Food actually tastes fresher than when I went for dinner. Every time I have gone, I have had the best service. Dinner time there are many families and kids running. I don't mind because I am a Nonna but in the other hand parents do need to control their kids and teach them how to behave in a restaurant.

I visited for the first time and had a good experience. Although dessert options are very limited, the food was actually good and flavorful. My only recommendation is to actually fry the shrimp and not put it in its juices because it loses the salt and pepper. Our waitress was great and very attentive to our table. She made sure to remove plates that weren't being used from the table and refill our drinks. I payed around $20 per person with drinks included. I look forward to come again.

The restaurant serves hot and fresh food during the afternoon. The staff is helpful and answers any questions about the food. There is a variety of options to choose from.

Great buffet, but the trick to getting ur money's worth is to eat the best food, take ur time, and make multiple trips.

First time there food was great. Options unlimited. Beautiful restaurant and wait staff was the friendliest I've had in a long time! I will be back.

It was actually better than i expected. I'm pleased with their variety of food selections. And the tables weren't sticky. I'm HUGE on customer service, the concierge actually chatted with a few of the familiar/regulars. I appreciated seeing that.

Not too good. I have never done a review before for a restaurant, bit today I was so upset at the quality of the food at this restaurant. Absolutely no taste at all...no type of seasoning to make the food enjoyable. You'll literally need extra sauces and other condiments to DOCTOR UP (flavor) the good to get your moneys worth. Seriously!!!!! I'll never go back.

Lucky Village CLOSED. Lucky Village on Dairy Ashford is CLOSED DOWN. I was frequent customer there and stopped by early November 2013 with son but large CLOSED sign on door, place is vacant. So had to go to Plan B Hiabichi Grille on I-10 at Tully Road about 1/2 mile away for Chinese food fix. Lucky Village seemed to have declining business in last year, not sure if because of Hiabachi Grille opening up so close or due to sheer amount of large building construction in Energy Corridor; that to, me, would seem more business with thousands of new customers in 12-15 story new large buildings! Too bad.

I liked my dining experience at Lucky Village. The buffet has everything which I find a positive when I take the whole family out. Everything that I choose was very good. Service was good and so was the food. I will be going back.

Lucky Village 3 is fairly average on pricing for a Chinese buffet. Their food can be very hit or miss, some of the Chinese food is good while others are a saddening experience (such as the general tso's chicken and the pepper chicken.) Their deserts are fairly light and make for a good finish though! It would be nice if the servers stopped and looked you in the face or didn't seem so disconnected. Overall it makes for an alright quiet lunch or dinner. Though I do miss the slight cheesy Chinese music that plays at the other buffets. 7/10
