Review Bawarchi Biryanis Indian Cuisine - Houston

Bawarchi Biriyanis, a well-known Indian restaurant in Houston, provides an extensive range of choices. During our visit for dining in, we relished the delectable Chicken Biriyani, Chicken starters, and a delightful dessert. Although the cost is on the higher side, the experience was definitely worth it. We look forward to returning and exploring more dishes in the future.

Overall the food is good. It is famous for biryanis. I tried chicken 65 biryani, avakay chicken biryani and karampodi chicken. All re good. They are selling beers 🍻too(TajMahala and Arka). They are having some fresh juices like pineapple and watermelon. The juices are okay okay. They had a party place but it is getting transformed into Desi Pizza store which is yet to open.

Great place have your Indian food cravings 🤣. I don’t notice anything as negative feedback. Friendly people, good ambience. They got breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recommend to go on weekend to try their BIG BUFFET LUNCH $15.99 value for money will not regret 😀😀.. Huge high-five for the entire team.

I’m married to an Indian man and so we are always on the look out for good Indian food. They are so nice and the food is so good. Not INSANELY spicy but developed flavor (not just burning). They also were not rude to me as a white girl, which I very much appreciated. The bathrooms are also super clean, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the incense smelled good. 10/10

The food was SO good! I would say desserts was okay. I would come again! Staff was SO nice! Did the lunch buffet!

I was trying to find a new Indian restaurant to try out and I came upon this on Hillcroft. It's a small cozy restaurant. Tonight I enjoyed a nice entree of butter chicken and garlic naan. Rice was fluffy and the butter chicken perfect amount spice.

Had a delicious plate of Medu Vadas. The chutneys were excellent additionally. The servers were very courteous and friendly. The post lunch coffee was delicious. Prices are reasonable.

I have been here a few times over the past month. The vegetarian/vegan options are first class. The food is worth the price, and maintains a high quality, regardless of how busy it is. Out of the options there are close to it, It is definitely the best restaurant in that area by far.

I am regular customer. This is my most go to place when I don’t want to think much and I know the food will be nice. I have tried a lot of items and all of them were good. I love the Mutton Masala the most, its great. I also love the Biriyani. Also they listen to instructions which is a nice way to retain customers. Thanks for the service you provide. - Pradipta

Chicken Hyderabad Dum Biriyani! Which is very good and tasty. Really no such restaurant gives this in woodlands. Best part is quality, quantity which you don’t get in woodlands. Really every one has to try and really enjoy the meal with your family. I have planned and made my dinner so great for my family.

It’s been late for the review The best Indian Lunch buffet in Hillcroft. We were New to Houston, My friends and I came to know about this place when we were searching for Indian food. We were welcome with a nice smile, and offered a table without wasting any time. The buffet has enough options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, and everything we tasted was delicious. The food is sufficiently spicy that even Indians and the locals will enjoy it. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to try the Indian food in this area. Looking forward to visit this place.

This place is spacious and really a place to eat with friends and family. Lots of variety good available. Veg menu and non-veg menu items have multiple options. Food tastes good and really makes everyone hungry. Buffet is affordable. One concern is, few seats are near restroom, You will always smell chemical. Food queue is cumbersome some sometimes. Food items are place two in rows in same place, when the food is hot it is difficult to reach the one at the back. Based on the other reviews. I think they should take care of quality. If more customers give the feedback and they improve accordingly. I am damn sure this restaurant will be the best in the town.

We ordered a whole bunch of biryanis for our family for take out. I didn't pick this establishment, so i didn't read reviews or check menu since we ordered as a group and pretty much were out of options. So let me start off by saying that never ever i had a biryani that had coated/breaded/fried chicken pieces "tossed" in biryani masala and rice. We were told that they were out of chicken which was ok, we are open to beef/mutton/goat meat, so we were ok with whatever they had, but if they are selling a non conventional biryani especially as a replacement for something they do not have they need to tell the customer... so to be coated/breaded/fried chicken is a non conventional type of biryani. Anyway... so on to the food... the food was not eaten right away, but that did not cloud my opinion because even if i had it at the restaurant i would have had the same complains. The food was packaged nicely and is proper plastic containers, presentation for takeout was good also with onions and lime wedge and a hard boiled egg garnishing the dish and came with a mirchi ka salan (i think) and raita. when container was opened, i smelled the biryani aroma, and was hopeful that it would deliver but i was disappointed. The biryani was extremely spicy, so much that my throat and ears were burning, truly an assault to my taste buds, i couldn't eat more than few spoons. the chicken as i described above was coated/breaded so it was really weird combination and tasted odd. the rice itself was cooked well and if they didn't add buckets of red chili it would have been edible. the raita was really good, and i did not try the mirchi salan, so no opinion on that. My husband's biryani container had a chicken leg piece so i know his experience wasn't the same. I am giving a poor rating because normally when i am extremely hungry i would eat the food even if i didn't really care for it because i am hungry and because i hate to waste food but this was inedible, and i am sad that i will be throwing it out.

For a few minutes of my day, I felt like I was back in a restaurant in Hyderabad, India. The place may not seem extremely appealing on the outside, but it is beautiful on the inside. I have been to quite a few Indian restaurants in Houston throughout my life, and I seldom find food that leaves me feeling like I had a real Indian meal. This place was a gem; the food was prepared quickly, it tasted very authentic, and it was true to an Indian's desired spice level. I cook Indian food at home, but when the day's demands don't allow that freedom, it is good to have an alternative place; this was a great treat. I will definitely be going there again, and I will be sharing my experience with others. Keep up the great work! I hope my next visit is as good as my first. :)

It was my first time eating at BB and I must say I was very impressed. The place looks upscale with good decor but above all the food and service was impeccable. I tried Schwzan fried rice with Aloo Gobi masala, a masala Dosa with carrot halwa for dessert. Everything tasted wonderful and I was one happy camper.

Love the tandoori options and lentils. I order from here once a week! Such good flavor and the right amount of spice. So thankful to find a place to indulge in after long day of work !

I went to dinner with 7 people here after a lecture down the street. It was everyone's first time here. The atmosphere was fantastic and It was super clean. The food was absolutely incredible too. Unfortunately the service was lacking. The first waiter that took our order occurred confused as how to take an order as he half hazardly took our orders. Then a completely different waiter brings us the dishes and starts laying them out in front of the guest at my table without confirming that it was the dish that they indeed ordered. Lots of confusion occured with a third waiter getting involved. Orders mixed up and failure to communicate with us to clear up the mistakes, failure to bring out food for one until all had eaten, all made for a poor experience. If I do come back here again it will only be for takeout

Was not expecting the food to be that good, but enjoyed everything I ordered and would definitely return to try something new.

Channa masala is delicious. I like the way the food and sauces are presented. I even forgive the lack of iced tea (I am really Texan, it's hard).

My wife and I feel this is the best place for Andhra cuisine in Houston.

I loved their hyderabadi chicken dum Biryani.. restaurant is over all clean but service could get little better.

Good place to hangout with family and friends..I tried chepala pulusu.. it was very very good. I think everyone should try it...
