Thai Basil - Houston - Photo album

The workers are so nice and the food is amazing!! I always get the spicy chicken fried rice with some sriracha and lime. It’s my favorite after school spot for a late lunch/early dinner. So sad to hear they are closing, I always enjoyed talking with the workers and eating there with my friends.
I discovered Thai Basil a few months ago. In my opinion, they make the best Fried Rice I’ve ever had. I get it with shrimp and it’s a very good portion and very tasty. I eat here once a week now.
Been a regular here for 7 years now. Fresh food, made to order. They listen to my requests (for less oil and more spice) and prepare accordingly, which I like very much. "Pad See Yew" is my favorite. Lots of veggie and eggs, make it a generous portion - which I break into two meals.
Great food at great prices. I was just there today. So glad I did too because I found out that it IS CLOSING! After 10 years of business, this amazing restaurant will be shutting its doors for good. Next week’s your last chance. Aug 28 will be their last day. 😢
Spring rolls were awesome! Pho was pretty good. This tea was fantastic. Good service, friendly, clean, decent prices. Nice easy jazz playing in the background.
If you like fresh cooked, this place is great. I go here all the time because I work downtown. It is always really good. I like the number 5 and number 8. Shrimp and Chicken.
Not one food item over $7.29. Has a few simple Thai dishes such as pad Thai and pad see ew, fried rice, and curry plates. Good portions and great taste. Inside the food court in the mall across from Phoenicia
I always get the spicy Thai Basil shrimp fried rice. The food is cooked in front of you and the place is clean. It taste amazing and the service is great
Good portions and they make it right in front of you. Long lines during lunch. The pad thai is more watery compared to other places (probably since they don't drain it and its kept in a box instead of a plate)
Good generic "Asian" food. I'm not sure I'd call this Thai per se, but it's the generic American versions of Asian foods. It's the standard fare and quality I expect, nothing fantastic, but not bad either.
Not the greatest thai curry, but definitely tasty. Very quick service and good portions
Very delicious large amounts I tried everything on the menu great portions
Ther Pas see ew and fire rice are the best. Very juicy and tasty... can't complain
Really good pad Thai and best Tom Yum ever!
Fresh. Good tasty. Cheap. They make in front of your eyes
This place is Amazing a must go it place it's off the chain check it out...
Made to perfection every time and made right in front of you.
