Ouzo Bay is a gem in my book. The experience overall was great because you walk into a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and the servers are friendly. The ambiance was great for a dinner and had music and great lighting. We had dinner here to celebrate a birthday, which was nice because they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne. The food was excellent. For appetizers we ordered the trio hummus and spanakopita and both were delicious and tasted so homemade. Our entrees were excellent, from the presentation, temperature, portion size, and quality of food. I had the crab cakes and it is one of the best I have ever had. The drinks were really good and strong (which is a good thing) :). The Manager also stopped by our table to check on our experience, which I thought was very courteous and professional. Overall, this is a great place to dine and I will be back! Thanks Ouza Bay team for a wonderful dining experience!

Very nice atmosphere. The lamb meatball was expected to be tinder and that’s what it gave. Same as the lamb shank I ordered. After ordering 3 glasses of mimosas, I gave up because I was basically drinking orange juice and cranberry juice. Overall, great experience and the staff was friendly.

Decor and atmosphere were nice. House music blasted from a dj playing on the Saturday night we dined in, which was not the most appetizing music to eat to. Bad music selection aside, the food and the service really shine here. The eggplant and zucchini chips were fried perfectly and paired well with the dill dip. The chicken orzo soup was very creamy and had a bit too much lemon, but was still good. Baked mussels were amazingly tasty. The highlight of our meal was the crab truffle mac and cheese. Hands down best mac and cheese i’ve ever ate - Super rich and the consistency was perfect. Great place for a dinner date or celebration.

My life has been so busy planning a wedding that this review is one month overdue. But let me begin by saying THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO for all your special events! 100%! I celebrated my Engagement Brunch here at Ouzo Bay on July 31st, and when I say that the experience was absolutely extraordinary … it is an understatement! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with patience, kindness, and an overall willingness to accommodate my needs in a way that no one else gave me. From the hostess to upper management, everyone was professional, well trained, and wonderfully sweet. I went to other restaurants and no one was willing to work with me as sweetly and easily as here. The manager, Ryan, was my first point of contact and made everything so easy I was almost in disbelief. The entire event went so beautifully, and that I know I can attest to the staff, so my sincerest thank you for all that you guys did for me. I never felt that I was rushed while spending time with all my friends and loved ones; they knew when to be present and when to be reserved. There is a delicate balance necessary for events like these, and they absolutely mastered it, with grace and elegance. Everyone was always well taken care of and assisted in a timely manner. The food was divine, plated beautifully, and came out promptly for all 18 guests with no complications whatsoever. Our waiter was seraphic in his every manner of customer service, took such care in cutting my custom made cake as well as packaging it up for me. My sincerest thank you to you for that. What else can I say besides 5 STARS 5 STARS 5 STARS?! If you are reading this review, and are in abeyance between here and another restaurant, please choose Ouzo Bay, they soar ABOVE expectations. xoxo Veronique

Fresh fish selections on the menu combined with the creative bar cocktails made for an exceptional experience. All the items we ordered were plated nicely and had authentic mediterranean flavor. My wife really enjoyed the Olympian Delight cocktail. Will definitely return.

Exceptional dining experience with fantastic service and attention to detail on every level with huge emphasis on selection & freshness. From appetizers to entrees and dessert, all were delicious & delivered an incredible experience including presentation. We had the Metaxa 7 Greek Hot Toddy & a Southside for drinks and loved them.

Wow impressive appetizers and drinks here. I didn’t have time for lunch but take a look at what I got. I got the sampler trio of roasted peppers tzatziki and hummus. Very fresh and artisan quality. The pita was not standard bag pita but seemed slightly fluffier and slightly higher quality than standard bag pita. The money here was the salmon ceviche. Ultra fresh and chilled salmon in a chilled bowl with a heavenly sauce with citric notes and pomegranate seeds was out of sight good. The calamari were real deal with legs and everything not just a bunch of rubber rings. The batter was light and crisp with an Asian flair and properly seasoned. The phanes poison was a most excellent drink. They went down very easy. Citrus and floral herbal notes. Daniel ??? Was an excellent bartender. Tell him Trey sent you!!

We fell in love with the Baltimore location. When we heard they were expanding to Houston, we were so excited and thankful they chose Houston. The food and service are top notch. Wonderful place for a romantic date, Anniversary, etc. We will be back!

This place was FIVE STARS all around!! Everything, I mean everything was FIVE STARS. Every dish was so fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious! We ordered the turbot fish that was actually flown in from Spain, which was superbly prepared and served with a delish creamy lemony sauce with capers. Look at my pictures to see all the yumminess! The Executive Chef even checked in on us to see how we were enjoying our meals, what a personal touch! Excellent service, all of whom were friendly, personable and very attentive. The pretty décor adds to the ambience and overall experience. I can't say enough about how I enjoyed this whole experience! Ouzo Bay is now my number one favorite restaurant in Houston!

Lamb meat balls really damn good. Lamb shank was fall off the bones perfect. Sides were very tasty. Enjoyed a bottle of wine.

Spectacular seafood selection, as always. Also one of the only places in town where I can consistently find Mythos. Often less crowded than other restaurants in the shopping center so the service is much better than you receive elsewhere. They clearly take pride in their work. The atmosphere is also great.

Had a wonderful dinner here w friends n the lofty, posh surroundings. The sampler w house made tzatziki and hummus were some of the best I’ve had...so creamy and seasoned perfectly. U can’t call urself a Mediterranean joint and not offer whole fresh fish, and they don’t disappoint here. Tried several fish and were perfectly cooked. Their take on the Brussels was nice but maybe could have been a bit crispier for my taste. Friend tried some of their non-A mocktails and said they were great. Fairly solid vino selection as well. Enjoy.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The food was amazing! We ordered the grilled calimari appetizer to share. For entress we had the langostinos, scallops and the African prawns. Everything we ate was incredible. Only downside was we were sat by the bar and the bar is crazy packed on Friday nights. My father does have slight mobility issues so it made it a little difficult for him to go to the restroom. The restaurant does have a pretty loud and lively atmosphere. We will definitely go back because the food was that good. Just next time if my father is with us we will ask for a table a little further from the bar.

Another great restaurant in Houston from an outside group (The Atlas Restaurant Group from the Smith brothers of Baltimore). It was just appetizers this time and the date and feta spread was amazing as was the octopus. The bar area is excellent and looks to be a great place to meet people. I'll definitely be returning to try some of their mains.

1. Their dishes are so..... FRESH AND DELICIOUS! Love it! 2. The decorations are like we were besides the sea, we were enjoying the delicious foods with breezes, this feeling is so GOOD! 3. The branzand the watermelon salad are my favorite! Do not miss!

Upscale and clean decor with lots of blue and white. I've been here during the evening, on the weekend and its packed and full of energy. This review is about a tuesday lunch date I had with my girlfriend, Christie. We came in and were seated right away. Greeted by what seemed to be 2 different servers, at different times, it was a little strange. We gave both our drink orders, and waited. The drink delivery was very slow for the restaurant to be empty. Well, there were a total of 4 tables there, including us. This would be true for the entire meal. Between a watermelon salad & a Gyro with greens, the lunch would take 1 & 1/2 hours, that part was very disappointing. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the food is delicious. The watermelon salad had feta & arugula and what looked to be a balsamic drizzle. My girlfriend said this was now her new favorite salad. I had the Gyro and it too was really good. You could tell the meat was quality, cut thin and very flavorful. If I had 1 complaint about it, it had an large amount of grease, to the point where I was using up most of the napkin to keep my hands clean. Speaking of the napkins, my girlfriend was in a black dress & I had on a black suit, but we were given white napkins, they could have given us black napkins so we did not get white lint on our clothes, but that was not offered. We also ordered the baklava with pistachio ice cream. While I don't eat sweets, my girlfriend also said that this was really good. Almost everything was worth 5 stars, except the slow service. We will return again and inwould recommend this place.

This place gets really crowded for late dinners, because it kind of turns in to a club sometimes with a DJ on the weekends. They have really good happy hour in the bar area. I was a little disappointed that the menu seemed pretty bland. It used to be more Greek influenced but after the pandemic it just became basic Mediterranean I guess to get people back in the door. Overall the fish was good but my favorite dish was the potatoes.

I’m giving 4 stars because I love the restaurant and vibe, because it’s new and the kitchen is super slow. The menu is great and diverse, I loved the grilled octopus and my friend loved the lamb tartare. I tried the Branzino which was done very well with capers and lemon. My friend had the prawns which were very good as well, we loved the crab Mac and cheese. The lemon potatoes aren’t good they need to be softer. Baklava was basic nothing special. The restaurant is beautiful makes you feel like you are in Greece or somewhere off the Mediterranean coast. I think the staff needs to be younger and more socially vibrant. I hate their attire, at least let the women dress cute Ouzo Bay. Overall I think this restaurant will do well once they get all the kinks worked out.

Had an amazing experience over at Ouzo Bay above my expectations. Awesome atmosphere, upscale, great service but beyond everything else the food was AMAZING! Aliyah pointed us in the right direction with what to order. I would go as far to say this was one of my favorite dining experiences of all time. Definitely at the top of my list.
