I had my order to go and was conflicted, cheese enchiladas, which had good reviews on Google or the daily special, carne guisada. I asked Samuel, my server, what he recommended, and he suggested cheese enchiladas that are topped with the carne guisada. Omg! The meat was so tender and big chunks. I'm already planning on my next visit and who will join me. It's definitely a place worth the trip.

Consistency is key. Many similar restaurants in the area can be inconsistent in their food quality, as if the food quality is dependent on the cook in the kitchen at the time. Two Chuchos tex mex is always good without regard to the time of day or day of the week, and they have been consistent for many years.

I went during lunchtime. The ambience was good. The lunch special that day, which was a Friday was Carne Guisada. It was a small portion but it was good. I also had a margarita which was only $4.50 and it was very tasty. The restrooms were clean as usual, and the waiter was very knowledgeable and professional, even though he was a bit short with us.

My chicken soft tacos was good. Salsa tastes more like tomato sauce than a salsa. My son in law had the stuffed avocado and my daughter had the cheese enchiladas. They both liked their meal.

I decided to give this place a try since I had driven past it three times on chance in a single day. The food was good although not so hot, more like room temperature also the rice was plain and dry. Other than that, the salsa was warm and the portions were generous for a lunch special. Nice and peaceful place to have a midweek lunch.
