Zake Sushi Lounge

We went using a groupon. The Groupon said on it that there was a 1 groupon per table limit. We came in as a double date with friends of our who had bought the groupon as well. We asked the waitress if we ordered as separate checks can we each use our groupon, which was a modest request. The waitress said it would be okay, but when the manager came to explain it he was less than willing to accomodate. He was not going to let us use the 2 groupons, despite telling him that we were going to actually order more than the coupon stated, but wanted to make sure that everything was okay in doing this. He haggled for a while but eventually cowered. The sushi was actually not the bad, the service was okay (our poor waitress was caught in the middle), and the ambiance was actually pretty nice. However there was almost no one there, it was very dead. I won't come back because of the price, had I not gotten the groupon, my wife and I getting 2 signature rolls and 4 basic rolls would of costed 70 dollars for dinner.

We really wanted to go to Zake and finally did it tonight and it was HORRIBLE. The wine had sugar in the bottom of the glass to make it more sweet and the ceviche was disgusting, We couldn't wait to go back home to throw up all that bad food. It is up to you if you want to go and have your own bad experience.

Went to a party promoted by D Sam. Paid $450 for a section in vip w/2 bottles. Was seated for 20 minutes when waitress asked us to move (6 ppl to go to a 2 person table). We only got 1 bottle, had to argue for the 2nd, 3 fights broke out & we NEVER got the food we paid for. I will NEVER go here again, even if it's paid for.
