My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Los Cucos off of 249 this February 2017. The management was extremely easy to work with and created an amazing time for our families. We had a group of ~45 people in their outdoor patio area which was a lovely private area away from the noise of the rest of the restaurant. The food was delicious and we were excited to serve some great Texas Mexican food – they did not disappoint! Great cost per person and the buffet was delicious! Plenty of food for all of our guests! Would recommend this restaurant for any gathering!
Food was great, timely and my Mango Margarita was Perfect! Our waiter was nice and checked on us often but not to the point of annoying. This time was a good experience! I would recommend!

Very authentic food, fair priced and friendly crew...lately they have been doing karaoke and that is mostly background noise but the place is still great! Try the cactus margaritas mmmmhhmmmhmm :)
We went last night! I am on crutches. The wait staff were amazing and even showed me the restroom in the back of restaurant so I didn't have to go all the way to main one! The food is simply wonderful! And I love there Rita's!!
The food was really good. The fish Cancun was awesome. Their strawberry margaritas are the bomb.

Great margaritas. They handled our huge group well. My food could have been hotter but it was still delicious.
My husband loves the BURRITOS, me not fond of Mexican food but I go cause he loves this place and great atmosphere.
In true fashion of Cinco de Mayo, I went in to have a margarita. Customer Servive and Entertainment was excellent.

Had a good time eating here. Prices were higher than most mexican restaurants. Food was great. Place was a little loud. They were busy but the music was up a litle too much. ESPECIALLY on the walk in, like a concert loud, yikes!!! We almost left.

Food was great as well as service. I got the skinny Avocado meal with chicken, it was very flavorful and I finished every bit of it. I wasn't a fan of the alcoholic beverage I had I only drank half it was more of the juices and soda and as a bartender I felt like I was drinking a non-alcoholic beverage. Overall though we all enjoyed our meals and would return.
Food was great! Better than I expected! They have the biggest menu I ever seen at this type of restaurant! My husband and I plan on going back every weekend until we have tried everything that we want!
Excellent Mexican restaurant, I come here all the time. Friendly staff very quick to get food to you everyone, great atmosphere & attitudes. If you’re in the area stop by or they also have a Mexican seafood place on the other side of the street which is equally incredible.. Maybe I’ll see you there.

We came here on a Sunday morning about 11:45. The parking can be a pain in the neck, but thankfully we were able to secure a spot near the front very quickly. We were concerned that the restaurant would be packed, but Los Cucos does a great job of spacing the booths and tables where it's never crowded; if you are at a table and have to get up to go to the bathroom, you won't have to step over someone.
I love the queso here! It isn't super runny, and they add tomatoes and small sliced up bell peppers with onions. They also serve it with a cut up flour tortilla that's been fried and pairs nicely with the queso.
The mixed fajitas I ordered came out very good. The chicken breast was sliced thick and had a tremendous flavor! The beef however was a little tough, but good flavor. I know it sounds like nit picking, but I hate when biting into the tortilla of a loaded fajita, and the meat can't be bitten into cleanly so the whole chunk of beef comes out.
The price tag is comparable to Papasittos. I feel that the service here is very attentive to your needs... They made sure our drinks were topped off, I never had an empty drink before they would refill it.
All in all a good experience.
Wonderful place, and such polite and helpful staff. They were also very attentive to our drinks and asked us how we were doing. The live music was a very neat twist to a Mexican Café. The prices were also surprisingly low for such great quality! Spent a great time with family, relaxing and enjoying our meal.
Food was awesome. Initial server had NO interest in servicing our table. We received no silverware and waited 25 minutes with NO order taken. He was serving a large table, was understanding of such, but there's was NO acknowledgement that he was going to service our table, so we/party if 2 asked another server/waitress to take our order and ALL was great thereafter.
I will return, but never will be serviced by that server.
Excellent service and very friendly. Awesome margaritas. The fajitas are very tender and juicy. Everything that we had was very tasty and delicious. Our waiter was awesome, and all the other helpers as well. We had an awesome experience last night.
So many years ago my love for this place blossomed. Not only is the atmosphere amazing but the food is out of this world. Our waiter Joshua was fantastic and attentive to our needs. Bear was welcomed with open arms and the staff was more than happy to make accommodations for all of us to be more than comfortable. I highly recommend the Fish Playa De Azul with the bass and crab. Never in my life have I enjoyed such a flavourful mix of delightful food. 😊 bring your family and friends and treat yourself!!!!

The food is sooooo good here! Every time I have been here, we have received good attention. The food sometimes takes a little long when it is a full house but that is understandable. The location is not the greatest because you can miss it if you're not looking for it. I have never seen the place dirty or seen dirty tables for long (those bussers work super fast). I almost always get the Fajitas a la Cucos (called something like that) because the sauce they make that goes on top of the fajita tastes really good and spicy. The portions I would say are reasonable for the price. Sometimes I do get the occasional high ratio of veggies to meat, but I love veggies so that is no problem for me.
Excellent food, attentive wait staff, clean restrooms. Prices are still good and haven't been too inflated.
