Review Oui Bahn Mi - Houston

I love this place! Really fast service and has a drive through. We were across the street in the park so just ordered from an app and picked it up at the front window (I don’t think they’re open for dining). They’ve got a great buy one get one free deal for their pastries. I loved the hard boiled egg in the banh bao! Pate chaud had a perfect flaky crust from the puff pastry. Banh is also fantastic and ridiculously cheap compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I’m already thinking about what else I want to try from their menu!

Bahn Mi Sandwhich~ grilled pork was delicious! Traditional & French bread perfect! Special Rice was WOW! Super friendly to me & my pup :) had her in the car & owner came to window asking if he could give her a treat :) the treat was amazing!! Great place!

Oui Banh Mi is a reliable neighborhood outpost for quick (and cheap) drive-thru and take out. The dining room is currently closed. The food is solid and reliable. It’s great for lunch on the go or picking up an easy dinner after a long day. OBM is also open late, which is a plus for night owls and those visiting the many bars in the area.

This place has an adorable drive up winning window to order through and has the most affordable Vietnamese sandwiches, delicious spring rolls and other amazing Vietnamese options!! They make coming here a regular necessity!! There’s really no reason to give this place a bad review as their service and options are incredibly affordable and impeccable!!

I stop by here pretty often for banh mi or pho, and it's always delicious! The staff are friendly, and it's a nice place to grab a quick lunch from. Plus, the Vietnamese iced coffee is always a treat.

The food is honestly so good for the price, flavor is great, and the employee happily recognized me after visiting a couple times. It’s such a nice little area with fresh food that I’ll keep supporting.

Great little Vietnamese spot. I had the chargrilled pork bun with a fried egg. I liked it a lot. Just fyi, the egg was not freshly made, it was pre made and refrigerated. Not saying that’s good or bad, but just wanted to share for those that care. My wife had the pork with rice and that was my favorite of the 2. Next time, thats what I’m ordering. We’ll definitely be back to try other things on the menu. 👍🏼

I was quite taken for a surprise when I first arived at the resturant. A drive through window and the looks of a fast food restaurant. I did not expect much from the food after seeing that. But was I supprised. The pho was decent, on par with the price it was sold at, but the sandwiches were amazing. So cheap and taste so good. The pork chop rice bowl also was much better than I though it would be.

I always have amazing service. I’ve eaten here many times, and I have one suggestion. I’ve received a sandwich with an uncircumcised jalapeño. Please remove white membrane. It ruined the sandwich and my appetite. I eat reapers and ghost peppers regularly, this almost ruined my rock and roll beef Banh Mi. If this is what I get for splurging on a sandwhich twice the price than; ouch. I will never not be a customer. I will just stick with steamed pork. Oh! And to the lady, who complained that the meat in her pho was raw?! **** you. You don’t know what pho is. S***** b****. Get real. This place is awesome. Just. Jesus Christ. Cool it on the heat. Delicious rice. Egg rolls are sometimes stale and they often miss add-ons... So reiterate it. If you want better tofu go to Phoenicia at $9 a bahn mi. If you want cheaper go to thien an, in person. This rice is legendary though.
