Best food I ever had! Got a vegetable rice noodle dish and now I have every Vietnamese restaurant trying to recreate what I had in Houston…I requested vegan.. sorry to say but everyone else cannot compete.. everywhere I go I show a picture from Kim Tai!
Wowww! Great selection of food to choose from. Their menu is vast. I recommend the egg rolls. They are huge. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Everything was tasty. I will undoubtedly be commonly back when I am back in town.
I've been visiting this place for many many years. Hands down they have the best Bánh Mì in Houston. I normally go for a Wonton Soup & Bánh Mì. You don’t go here for the aesthetics you go here for the food and good home service. Sweet family service is quick and food comes out hot and fresh and good just like home. I had ca kho to just right. And not overpriced. Not lots of parking space but people come in and out frequently in time for you
I picked up some food over here just to enjoy for a couple days. I got some sandwiches and some eggrolls. They were so good and authentic must try.
We got egg roll (A2) fried rice cake (A4) flat rice noodles with beef and tomato (M12) and wonton soup. Everything was fantastic and great value. LOVE !
First time eating here. I was a little skeptical at first cause there were no other customers, but little by little people began to arrive. I'm so glad I stayed cause the food was delish and affordable!! I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and vermicelli with chicken and pork.
Best vietnamese food we've had yet. The rock and roll beef and egg rolls were particular standouts.
So good. We had a little bit of everything. I was even disappointed when my 10 year old begged for a cheeseburger at a VIETNAMESE restaurant; so insulting. But he said they put a lot of love into that cheeseburger 😂.

Kim Tai has a nice cozy atmosphere in the heart of Midtown in Houston. You can find Vietnamese dishes here like Pho and Bahn Mi. The price is affordable. This place gets crowded and the dining room is small.
