Good food it was so good it was gone! I came for beignets because I have never had one and left with a whole meal and dessert. And I didn't make it out the door ended up dining in.. My only critique is that the food needed just a pinch more seasoning I understand people have allergies and maybe that's why it wasn't too heavy. But when I think of Cajun food I'm looking for that bold, punch of flavor you know? šAll in all; staff were friendly and professional. And there was a steady flow if traffic so they're doing something right ā

First time visiting this place and I must say it was worth the drive. The food was so good and the servers were nice. Will definitely recommend this place if youāre looking for Cajun food. Last but not least the beignets was awesome.

My second visit and everything was excellent. The vibe is straight up New Orleans. The beignets, blackened chicken salad, muffalatta, and catfish po-boy delicious. Last time I had a seafood gumbo with a delicious muddy dark roux the way I like it. The seasoning and spice hit my tongue just right. A great place with a friendly vibe.

I have to give this place a raving review! Firstly, only two people working at the time which isnāt ideal but Iād still like to acknowledge how fast and thorough their customer service was. I thought it would take awhile until we would be able to eat but it was the opposite.
The chicken and sausage gumbo was probably one of the best iāve hadā¦ever (in Texas). I also ordered the red beans and rice and a shrimp po boy. Everything was hot and fresh!
Couldnāt not get the beignets of course! Was everything I hoped. Definitely will be back.

Excellent poboys!! We tried the shrimp, oyster, and crawfish poboys. š¤© they were fried to perfection. If you could fry shrimp medium to medium well; thatās what this was. Definitely lives up to the Louisiana standard for seafood. My son had the French toast sticks. To say the least I ate half of them š¤¤ the beignets are on point! Nice and quaint restaurant with a lot of pow š„š„š„

Beignets are really good. Their cold coffee was delicious. However, the employees were not very kind the seemed to be annoyed it night be because their was alot of people. The tables weren't getting cleaned up or wiped down after use. Generally if I have not been to place and I would see this I would not go but I have been their many times so I was used to this. For someone just going for the first time I would see how this would not give them a good impression of the place. I do have to say I Love their beignets! When we want beignets there isnāt another place we would go. We come into town from the southeast area and this place does not disappoint. I would recommend this place even though their service should be a little better.

They make fresh hot Beignets right in front of you. It was very yummy. The bread is not sweet, so you can add as much suger powder as you like.

Good food, good vibes, overall excellent service and experience. I highly recommend trying them out. Can't find beignets everywhere. It really feels like you in the NO. Come check it out

Wow, I drove 30 plus minutes from Spring to get here. I'm new to Houston and exploring the city. I had a desire for beignets and Google led me to this nice, clean, and friendly place. I ordered 3 in total for under $5. The customer service was pleasant. A man hand made them from scratch right before my eyes. I dined in and was served my beignets while seating. When I tell you they're so delicious, fresh, hot and squares of heaven I kid you not . They're so gooooooood !!!! I will definitely be back as this will be my new place of choice when I crave them!

Comfy New Orleans themed restaurant with southern hospitality. I had a breakfast sandwich with andouille sausage. The andouille wasnt quite as course as most andouille, but it did have good flavor. The breakfast sandwich with sausage is more of a pork pattie. The beignets are good, my daughter and wife loved them.

So fresh and fluffy! Haven't had these beignets since they moved location. Still delicious.

...I came here craving a beignet and a cup of coffee. Ended up having the Beignet and Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. It was good and hot, not too much spice. I REALLY loved the hush puppy that came with my gumbo. Set the meal off.
The atmosphere is lovely. Very festive and filled with NOLA cheer. I came here to relax and rest my mind, and the staff were so helpful and kind to me that I almost fell asleep after dining. š„°
Can't beat the feeling of home while eating.
I give thanks.
Warmest Regards,

Delicious food, cute spot and great customer service. Some people were having coffee and beignets others full meals. I had the Cajun bowl which is dirty rice with red beans and fried shrimp on top! My husband had catfish po'boy which was perfect-the bread was soft, the catfish was well seasoned and fried hard. We took a dozen beignets to-go, they looked &smelled so good we started eating them at the table. We drove from Spring for this and we would do it again...I would give a 5ā but there wasn't alcohol.

Came here late on a Sunday and they were still open. Inside is very nice decor with many hints of the NOLA area. The beignets were delicious, fresh, and warm. This place can seat groups and was a perfect light dessert that can be shared.

Ordered 12 beignets and 6 hush puppies and they were DELICIOUS! Sadly, we ate the hush puppies before I took a pic. Beignets are a good size and great price $11.95. Will go back!!!

I love this place! It has a great New Orleans ambience - everything from the music to the food. Its a great place for a quick bite or a cup of coffee. The staff is attentive. And everything is made to order. I highly recommend š

This place has some of the best gumbo and beignets around! Highly recommend it!

It was my first time going here and I have to say, they have THE best beignets I've ever tasted! Getting the strips covered in powdered sugar and then dipping them in melted chocolate... gosh, it was like heaven on earth! I want to go here all the time, even though it's pretty far from my house.

The best service and wow the best food and beignets, loved it, telling all my friends and family that we found a gold mind.

Angela is the best!! She's always smiling and always takes care of me and my friend Kristina! Give her a raise!! The beignets and frozen coffee are always on point. I will definitely be coming back again and again.
Shanda Pinell
Excellent food and customer service!! I got the frozen coffee and beignets and both were some of the best I tasted.

The seafood gumbo was on point . Will be heading back out there this weekend.

This place is a delicious slice of New Orleans right here in Houston! Amazing food and amazing service! I can't wait to go back. Get the gumbo and save room for beignets!
Cristina Bailey
Just walked out. Food was disgusting. Shrimp were raw and the crawfish were black. Black crawfish means they were dead when they got there. All of their food is frozen and thawed. So gross. Do not go here.
Zellieboo Nola
Closest to home food in Htown! Plus the ambience and my Cafe Au Lait! Only complaint: need to add blue crabs to gumbo
Andrea Nailon
I took my daughter there when she came to visit from Indiana, we didnt hsve the time to go to Louisiana, it did just wonderfully.. Everything was great, that fried crawfish was life..ļæ½
Brad Fee
The beignets were good. Everything else (food, service, and portions) was pretty middle of the road.

Awesome food, beignets and cafe au lair. One of my favorite stops in Houston!!

I'm from Louisiana so when I say their gumbo is up to par, please believe it! So good! šš

Yuck. Beignets may be good, but the rest of their "real New Orleans food" is nasty. Maybe worst Cajun I have ever had. Gumbo tastes like they burned the roux and instead of starting over they dumped coffee in there. Yuck
Natasha Talley
Nice place to get a taste of Louisiana! I will definitely be back!
