Great place! Love their chips and queso, we had a Don Carlos on 59/Hillcroft but it closed down. I hope they open another one close to Southwest, great food and service, we will return.

Very good authentic mexican foods. Our server are very friendly, foods are good and drink are cheap during happy hour. Definitely we will be back someday

This spot is one of my old man’s favorites. Great price, good quality food, with a good quantity. They are always polite and fast with their service.
Would definitely recommend to anyone that misses those old style enchiladas, your grandmother would make.

Perfect meal to close out my trip to Houston. This was my favorite restaurant on this trip. Food was well above average and the service was great. Even though a bit manic, lol, my waiter was great. Very friendly and outgoing. If I'm ever in Houston again, I'll come back for sure.

Authentic Mexican food. I always get the 3 enchiladas, you can get 3 separate meats and toppings on them.
Happy hour there is pretty good as well.
House margaritas are decent. Not strong but refreshing

We visited Don Carlos on our visit to Houston. We arrived at a good time, before noon, it started to get busy after 12:30.
The environment, decorations and service was great.
The food was delicious, very tasty, Portions are big. Prices are not bad for the service and quality you are getting. Great restaurant overall. I would recommend to eat at Don Carlos if you are in Houston.

This place was recommended by my besties and I have to say, this place is a devilishly delicious and dynamite place to eat. The staff is so friendly, the look inside is spacious and cute ( The restrooms are clean!!!!!!) and the coffee is yummy.
Stop going to places you don’t like because of distance. Come here and enjoy the great food.

I was invited to an event. They got a mixta plate which was fajita and chicken with frijoles, rice, avocado and salad. The plate was so good 👍. The waitress was so nice it was an older lady very friendly. There was another one kinda younger than the other one who was getting frustrated because it was a big event with a lot of people which I understand. Great service will come again.
