Luby's is old school great. Especially the Lu Ann Platter! Service is great. You get the foot in a cafeteria line kind of like school but better. Restrooms and facilities are clean.
Haven't been to Luby's in many years so we visited last night (Oct. 2021) as we hear they are going out of business (?). Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, at a reasonable price. A full meal was less than $10, and it was fast but not fast food. All of the staples they are famous for
My chicken fried chicken was so dry and tough today I couldn't eat it. Tasted like I was chewing rubber. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were great though. Definitely tasted homemade. I also loved the lemon pie with the fresh whipped cream.
Well it was good silly event they ran out of Lu-Ann plates🤣 and since I was not supper hungry I was forced to get a kids meal although that doesn’t effect the review because the food was good, the guy in front of me cornered the market on steak so it was pretty fresh! Once we got some!
Haven't been to Luby's in ages, I thought they shut down all Luby's and I'm glad I came.
Food is hot and fresh and reasonably priced. Great food at an affordable price! What more could you as for? Service? Table service is great too. If you haven't been in years like me, it's worth the visit again.
Did the to go service. It was quick. I was able to go thru line for my order. They were social distancing. The black eyed peas cabbage and jalapeno cornbread was great. The chopped steak with onions was a little tough and needed some more seasoning. The cheesecake was not as good as it usually is.
Houston classic diner. Good food, good value. Clean with friendly service. Great place to enjoy southern food.

Awesome staff, very polite and attentive servant. Great wall pictures and restrooms super clean. Enjoyed the delicious Rosemary Chicken.
Overall a good place to visit for a quick bite, lunch or dinner. The food is fresh and the house cheecake is always available. My favorite is the chicken fried stake with a salad and Mac and cheese.
Came here for Father's Day dinner last week. Great food selection and decent sized portions. Friendly staff too, was my first time coming here!

My family loves Luby's!!! I have a family of nine and can feed them all in just a little over $100 that includes dessert. The food is tremendous and the portions are massive, everybody always ends up with their own to go box on the way out. The servers are great and very attentive, I always receive
Haven't been to a Luby's in a while. Glad we came here at this Luby's Houston #36 location. Food was fresh. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. Friendly staff including Michael, our server. I think he greeted every customer entering the restaurant even though they were not sitting in his tables
One of the better Luby’s in Texas. But on ToGo orders be thorough when checking your order. Make sure items that have gravy actually have it on it. They are super busy with ToGo orders and miss a lot of items if your order is large. My liver and onion was missing gravy, so was the mashed potatoes a
