Very nice local bar with decent menu. But the indoor seats are too cramped and outdoor seats are too noisy because the outdoor space is right off of a busy street. The steak we ordered once was also definitely below average. All that doesn’t mean I am not going there again because it is an overal good place to hang out and the regulars are very friendly. No comment on the staff though. A couple of times I went there I didn’t feel the bartenders were particularly friendly, to be honest. Hopefully things have improved since a few months ago. But I am not taking a star off for that because they were nice enough.

The pizza is very thin like a premade cracker and the cheese tray didn't have half of the ingredients listed on the menu. Yet I really like this place because of the bartender is so nice and the vibe is relaxed both in and out. I like to sit both places and just enjoy a drink.

Visited on Tuesday. I visited over a year ago& and things have changed: weekly specials are gone, such as steak night. The place is still a cozy place to meet for wine and conversation with a date or friends. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Small parking lot. Ordered Thai meatballs. They were delicious 😋! It's visited by people who live in neighborhood and medical professionals, just an observation. I didn't recognize the bartender he had on the shirt and shorts he didn't look like a wine bar server, not a good presentation 😐. However, he served a good 🍋 drop and spicy rum n coke. Overall 4 🌟 🤩

Living in a large metropolitan area like Houston means there are lots of options for most things, and drinks is certainly one of them. I love a good sports bar, but sometimes, I prefer something a little quieter and more conducing to conversation than cheering for my favorite team. When a more mellow mood strikes, a place that suits my mood is Bacco on the Bayou. Bacco on the Bayou features a smaller interior with lots of wood and intimate lighting. There are a couple of televisions, but if they are turned on at all, the sound is usually set low or off. There is a front, outdoor section for additional seating and a back section with picnic style seating, right next to Brays Bayou. These latter two options are perfect when you want to bring your dog along and want some fresh air. The inside is best when you want something quieter and tailor- made for small group or one- on- one conversation. With drinks, Bacco on the Bayou is first and foremost a wine bar, but they serve other drinks, too. I was happy to discover that there is a respectable selection of craft beer since this is my beverage of choice. The beer selection isn’t vast, but it is good and I was satisfied with the options available. They serve cocktails, too. So, whatever beverage you like, you should be able to find something to match your preference. If you find yourself getting hungry, Bacco on the Bayou also serves food. They offer several tasty pizzas plus grilled cheese, meat and cheese trays, and even steaks if you feel a little hungrier than usual. The food is quite good and matches well with the drinks. The prices are a little higher than expected, but they do offer a happy hour and it’s a good option if you are dining and drinking on a budget. I like visiting a cool sports bar when I’m in the mood for a livelier atmosphere. But there are those times when a quiet place is preferable and Bacco on the Bayou is a fine choice for this purpose. The more intimate setting, comfortable seating, and general quiet makes Bacco on the Bayou a nice place for drinks and meaningful conversation.

This is a cute and quaint little wine bar. They have daily specials and their pizza is good. They can also make cocktails if wine is not your thing.

The ONLY con is the minimal parking. Otherwise it's a cozy wine bar with great patio seating for a view of the bayou. The bartender is so attentive and has a great memory. We were here as a group of 10+ people all different tabs and he handled it so smoothly. I will say the bathroom design was a bit weird, several stock photos of intimate couples, no nudity but it seemed out of sync with the rest of the place. Looking forward to coming back!
