I am from south Louisiana so I have eaten at many different crawfish establishments under many different circumstances. The crawfish was great, the place was exactly as a crawfish place should be. The location was not the best I agree but I know from experience that it's the places that are hard to get to that are generally the best.
Hey really great job, the owner was friendly and very honest. I can see that she might hurt a feeling or two but if you go to south Louisiana you better leave that one feeling at home if you don't want to hurt it. Honesty is what usually hurts people the most.
Good food, good people. I usually get the daily special of a po boy and gumbo. The po boys are fantastic. The bread is the best. The gumbo is also very good. They had to do some remodeling because of Harvey and the upgrade is nice.
Let me just say that the food was a bit salty but it was over all good. Great customer service and plenty of room to sit. They even had the game on. The floor was sticky and they needed to throw out their trash but overall it was pleasant. Room for improvement.
The food is AMAZING!! We were nervous because the place was empty but realized they get a lot of to go orders. I'm glad we decided to stay and still try it because OMG THE FOOD WAS 🔥🔥🔥
The best Crawfish🦞 in HOUSTON!!!! Hands down… The drip sauce is out of this world 🌎 This place is clean, staff are amazing, pricing is great! I drive one hour to get here every week and get my crawfish fix. Oh and I almost forgot the Martha’s Cake is delicious you can’t leave without trying it!

This is one of Houston's best crawfish spots. Clean and upgraded and very nice staff and a great atmosphere near all the downtown hype. Definitely stop by if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed!

The neighborhood looks a little sketchy but I've never had a problem and there is always plenty of parking.
We came across this place one day after date night in downtown. Now I insist we stop by whenever we're in the area.

Solid Cajun food outside of LA, GrubHub delivery, and close to the convention center
The fish plate with fried catfish is hulk sized with 3 huge pieces of fried fish that had to be shared around, the 2 sad tartar sauce packets would normally have disappointed me, but the breading was light and had great flavor( and it's easy to ask for more sauce)
The gumbo has a fantastic smokey flavor. It is closer to soup than anything but the taste is quite incredible. I would add rice to thicken it or I put some of the above mention fish in it, which worked out great. Also had that slow kick I expect from Cajun food, overall I was pleased.
The poboys got great reviews too with a good balance of guts and bread. The small is probably reasonable for one person but they also offer an 11" a 16" and a 32" which I can only imagine... Oh yeah, and they smash 'em like they're suppose to
Jalapeño poppers were standard
Red beans were a little salty for me, and I didn't get the rice for which I fault the delivery driver, but I feel like there is a lot of potential there. Maybe someone tipped the can on accident, Id be willing to try again.
Bottom line - this place has earned a spot on our rotation when we visit. A couple of forgivable faults in our order but overall we were pleased.
Really recommend!! Everyone is so nice, amazing staff and the manager is a really chill and cool person also the food is really good the snow crab is my favorite well cooked and so much flavor! It’s my favorite restaurant now. Everything in the building is new and clean also has a really good vibe. Well recommend I give it a 10/10. DONT THINK TWISE TAKE THE CHANCE AND GOO!!
Perfectly seasoned and very fulfilling dishes. The soft shell crab could use extra fried oyster or crab. Also, there isn't enough variety for the salad dressing. Nice causal atmosphere.
