The service here is excellent! We came in with a huge party of 25. The servers worked hard. The food is great. I had the stuffed avocado with chicken. The dish comes with beef fajita soft taco and tortilla soup. A great variety of food in one meal. The tortilla soup is delicious and has a ton of veggies!

Excellent food and service. Met up with a veteran friend for lunch after 30 years. The tortilla chips with red salsa and guacamole were good. For my meal, I had enchilada verdes, beef enchilida with mexican rice, refried beans, and salad.

Extensive menu and a lot of seafood options, which is fairly unique to a mid-sized Tex-Mex chain. The fish tacos were good. I will return soon and try a few more dishes.
Table side guacamole was well prepared too!

Los Cucos was alright, it's silly, they want to charge $6 for (1) Taco, when you can get a plate of 3 for $11. Service was good.

Just had a large group to celebrate an anniversary. The service was awesome. Since the beginning, Carolina helped so much setting the date. Let us know that they could hold our cake if we had one. Once we were there, the waiters (one of them was Juanito) were so nice and efficient. Everything was right. The food was delicious! The green salsa was bomb! Would go there over and over again.

Patricia was the server and she was able to have the kitchen prepare my order with my unusual request of "not spicy". It came out amazing!

8/10 Quality food but 5 stars because of service . Ordered Fajita Enchiladas with michelada and did not disappoint . Looking forward to trying Happy Hour. Bring a friend or family member, they will love it!

I've visited many of the Los Cucos locations throughout Houston, though my experience at the particular location stood out from the rest. My server Lisnay was very kind & prompt when refilling my beverage. The only criticism I can offer is that she didn't converse very much... But that is a minor issue because she made up by having a wonderful smile while serving me.
I order the Fajitas A La Poblana, Chicken & beef mix with flour tortillas, extra sour cream, Pico de Gallo & charro beans. Everything tasted amazing!

Oscar was a very pleasant server! It was my nephew's birthday and minus the music hurting our ears, which they did turn it down and they sounded awesome. Great atmosphere, 100% best queso!!! The stuffed avocado was insanely awesome and that is the best tortilla soup I think I ever have had.

To begin we were ready to order and the server was just ignoring us, most of the servers where like that all night. We order a "Mexican margarita", it was so strong you couldn't even taste the lime with no flavor just pure alcohol. We told our server he didn't seem to care. The food was nasty the beans look straight from a can chicken undercooked. It was awful wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Worse pick ever. The food was brought out 45 minutes after the order was placed. I can't tell you what the food taste like because the waiter forgot to put MY order in. He offered to give me a plate of food that he had. Who knows who it belonged to. Then he offered to place my food order and said that it would take 5 minutes. How can it take 5 min to make it when it took 45 min for a similar plate to come out. The waiters didn't even come to sing Happy birthday to her. Worse experience ever. I have visited the location on Westheimer and I enjoyed eating there. But I will never visit the location location at 290 ever again!!!!

To hell with this place, the service sucks, the food tasted like it was refrigerated then nuked in a microwave when ordered. Then when I asked to change my plate the waitress scoffed and rolled her eyes. I called her back and said "you know what, forget it, just take that shit back to the dumpster where you got it from I just lost my damn appetite." Never coming back to this crap hole again. Nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone.

We had a wonderful birthday party for my mother that is 83 with the Mariachi's and staff was extra special, from changing or party of 20 to 50 with no problem... the food was great.. I give this place a 10. Will definitely be going again soon

It's all average and that is kind. The Memorial location used to be MUST EAT before it closed and the rest, including the horrid 11th street flagship are horrid. The 290 spot is decent, service was good, but this place is well last it's prime. They don't seem to care about the franchise. There is a lot of local Tec mex much better. I was loyal for 10 years and now embarrased.

Placed an order online during my lunch break at work, specifically noted on the order to replace the beans for extra rice. When I got back with the order they gave me extra beans and NO rice at all.. Called them, was basically told they'd write down my name and make sure next time they give me rice. WTF. Not to mention they only give you 4 little strips of fajita. I just wont be ordering from them anymore.

The people where attentive, and food was fast but the choice of food I ordered had hardly any flavor, which were the takitos with cabbage, my husband's order was very good though he ordered The Cowboys plate and he was very satisfied. :) overall our visitor was pleasant.
