Hands down......one of the best Mexican restaurants in my area. Everything on the menu is delicious and fresh but my favorite is the enchiladas verdes with carnitas and their fish/shrimp tacos. Surprisingly good food in Houston! All 7 of us enjoyed our meals. Not so peppery just full of flavor. Very attentive and fun wait staff, too! We will be back! Only one photo of our birthday girl but they surprised us all with a delicious treat and a song! Thank you.

Chavez Mexican Cafe is a good local restaurant for standard Tex-Mex food. The margaritas were good, but they tasted more like regular margaritas than the mango margaritas we had ordered. The spinach enchiladas were very tasty. The seasoning was just right and the sauce complimented the flavors well.
The salsas are good, it's a quiet establishment. The food was great I ate it all ! The server was very attentive, take in mind my bf ate 3 bowls if free tostadas. Would def eat here again :)
