Review Bbq Garden Korean Restaurant - Houston

My wife and I like to try out different Asian restaurants around the Houston area and why we choose this location instead of other K BBQ restaurants is because this restaurant uses actual charcoal grills instead of electric or propane grills. Adds a nice smoky taste and brings that authentic feel to it. The sides and mains were great and instead of one main waiter, multiple staff continue to check on you to see if you need more sides, water or even replacing your grill top (tends to get burnt after a few meats). We got the $99 combo and it was way too much for just the two of us so we brought the rest home as leftovers. Great place.

Definitely Recommend!! If you are looking for a unique experience with many different types of meats, soups with a variety that are customizable. The table is the BBQ where you cook the food items of your choice. It worth noting it’s a great experience for couples and families all the cooking is designed safely. So treat yourself to a different dinning table with a different dinning experience.

I wish I could give more than five stars for the service. The staff, particularly Ye-eun was extremely attentive, and if any of them walked by and even saw something as small as a brown menu under a brown jacket, they politely asked to take it or to take care of whatever was missing. I came with a friend and got the Bbq garden combo and it was all so delicious. Their soy sauce is my new favorite. The only thing I didn't like was the fog you get once you walk in, due to all the things being cooked on a busy Saturday night, but the wait was pretty quick for how busy it was.

Really want to experience traditional Korean BBQ, with minimum tailoring and sometimes senseless domestic-demands, this is the place. Service was always friendly, making sure BANCHA were replenished on time. Meat cut well made and the charcoal just right. Certainly recommended.

Oh my gosh, this was the best thing that I've ever had in my entire life. If you ever come here please get the combo special. Your family will love it and they will love you because you order something just as masterful as the creation that they created here at this great restaurant. Yes

Incredibly good food and service. They have options for meals to share with multiple people and you get a ton of variety in the dishes. The meat is phenomenal and you get privacy in a closed booth. It's not super cheap but it's worth every penny.

Awesome food. As good as anywhere else that I have eaten this type of food. The only problem was the place was very cold. I only started to warm up once the bbq had been lit for about 10 minutes.

Excellent meal, wonderful affordability, a bomb of flavor in each bite and the service is fantastic. The rooms/booths feel very private and comfortable without being claustrophobic and the meals are served in a timely manner. All feels like a great meal worth having more than once in a well cared for space with amazing staff.

Best food in a while . Fresh and fast service. The wife loved it. I'm full it really tasted authentic. I lived in Asia and this took me home. Loved it. Will be here again.also had doors to close for privacy.

One of my favorite korean restaurants in Houston. The food is amazing and the wait staffs are very attentive.

Family wanted to try this Korean restaurant. We came early (after 11am on Sun) and seated in a private room with a grill in the middle of the table. Upon observation, definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. The table and chairs were indeed a need of replacements. They were sticky and gross...prob from years of grilling. Anyway we ordered the following items from the menu: Seafood pancake - the outside was crispy and there were small pieces of squid and shrimp maybe scallops in the thin pancake. Dipped it in a sweet jalapeno garlic soy sauce provided on the table which brought out the flavor of the pancake; I recommend ordering Fried dumpling - entire dumpling was fried and the filling was a little dry to eat. I had to have sauce to eat with it. I think they over cooked as the outside was a bit chewy Jokbal - it is a pork dish (pork trotter or pig feet) cooked in a soy sauce and spice broth. It was a subtle dish which comes with 2 sauces on the side (one salty and one sweet). If you like gelatinous pork skin then this is for you. For me there wasn't much flavor without dipping into the sauce Fried chicken wings - crispy and sweet soy glaze on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Decent size wings. Definitely recommend this! K army stew - disappointed with this dish, it had processed meat i.e. hot dog and bologna like meat with kimchi, bean sprouts and dry instant noodles. The broth lacked flavor and I thought this stew would have spam and beans but no it doesn't. It came with 2 small bowls of rice so we divided up with the 4 of us The meals came with 6 or 7 types of banchan (small little side dishes such as kimchi, marinated cucumber, pickled diakon, etc). At the end the waitress brought us sweet and cold rice tea. As a note if you need to call the waitstaff you need to press the button on the back wall since we were sitting in a private room. The service was friendly and we didn't need to use the button to call as they checked up on us every so often. We may come back to try other dishes!

I love this place I don't stay close to them anymore but if I did I would be here every weekend. I love the fresh food I love the fact that you can cook your own food everything is so freshhhhh let's not forget about there lemonade OMG and it's free refills !

If you are looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience, this place is it! From the presentation, charcoal, banchans, meat quality, taste, even to the service, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience altogether!

Best Korean bbq place I’ve ever been to. Very attentive to our needs and very friendly!! I always feel so welcomed and the food is just amazing!! Ye Eun was such a kind waitress!! She helped us cook the food and recommended foods and drinks. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Can’t wait to come back!!

I've been to BBQ Garden a few times and it was fantastic each visit. My favorite grilled dish is the pork belly with squid and prawns. The flavor is amazing and the meat is perfectly marinated. The workers are very nice and do a great job of communicating wait times (if there's a wait time on food, it's delicious, so be patient and opt to wait). I highly recommend this place!

My the most favorite go-to korean bbq place in town. They have the best grill dishes with great seasoning. I also love their rice juice. Always recommend my friends come here if they want a bbq dinner!

I have never tried korean food in my life until I came into this restaurant. The food here was outstanding. I had fast and friendly service as well. But then again it there was only one other customer. But the food taste great no complaints here. Also they serve a lot of food. If I would be coming back here soon.

We love it! We drive an hour to eat here about 5-8 a month. That should tell you how good this place is. Service is super! Very friendly and never hesitate to teach me how to say the dishes in Korean. Every time we are here we stuff ourselves to the brim! Charcoal grilling! Dumpling dipping sauce ! Variety of side dishes Fresh meat Rice water! Super friendly service! All add to a wonderful dinning experience. Rachel Lee was super great today!

First time trying Korean BBQ and couldn't of picked a better place to try. Food was excellent and service was the best I've had in a really long time! Definitely didn't disappoint!
