I enjoyed eating here. The food was very good, not salty, like most other places I've been to. It was clean, and our server was super nice and seemed happy to be working there! I think her name was Valerie, I know it started with a V. She was great, made my visit so enjoyable that I will have to go again! She deserves a paid day off or a raise, if you ask me.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner (been going for the past 5yrs tradition). The food was great. Their holiday meal special is the best $13.99. I got turkey & ham, yes both. The meal came with dressing, 2 sides, and pumpkin or pecan pie. Service is either on or off, but most times it's good service.

I came here whenever I got a big tax refund back and I love this place my family and my friends I know for over 26 plus years came here for Thanksgiving and my older brothers Jonathan's birthday falls on Thanksgiving so the entire restaurant sang Happy Birthday to my older brother Jonathan also we said grace to God. And they had a clown show for the kids and everything it was awesome. My parents said they love the fried fish.We had so much fun and our bellies were stuffed. I can't wait to comeback sometime soon...

I was way more impressed with lubys than I thought I would be. The food was good. I had a chicken fried chicken. We also got a piece of carrot cake. It was really good. The staff was all really friendly and helpful.

We celebrated our grandmother's 93rd birthday. We had about 25 people. That arranged the tables quickly and the drink server was awesome. Food was very good.

The food is always fresh and good. Everyone is always so polite. I look younger then I am and I always need them to carry my tray for me because my upper body is weak, the waitress or waiter could become annoyed because I look healthy but they are always so pleasant and accommodating.

The store is old and the carpets need to be cleaned. We were there when they opened for lunch and most of the staff was just standing around although there was clearly work to be done. In the middle of the dining room there were rugs that needed to be rolled out. As elderly customers went to sit down they had to maneuver around these rugs. I went into the restroom before getting my food. Extremely dirty and not stocked. The food was good not great. I ordered the chicken fried steak on a Luanne platter. I was given the combo plate. When I pointed it out the server cut the steak in half and placed the other half back on the serving line. Which was very surprising since it already had gravy on it. Whoever received the other half was going to get a soggy steak. The salad bar is a confusing disaster. There is no place to put your tray and the server preparing the salads had to bend down into the salad area to put individuals salads together. In addition to giving the appearance of being unsanitary, it caused an unbelievable bottleneck.
The entire store is in need of a renovation.

I have found that by the time I get my food, get through the line, pay my bill and sit down, my food is either cold or Luke warm. Actually I like the old Luby's better. I also miss the dinner rolls they used to have as well as the old pumpkin pie. Sorry!
