Review Ihop - Houston

Love coming here, last visit wasn't so pleasant. There's a difference between being polite, friendly to just being plain nosy, my server was the latter. Lisbeth was her name, I think. Would definitely recommend a different server. Other than that the Manager's hospitality is always pleasant and food is great 👍

When we enter the Carpet was dirty and I was afraid to keep going but once inside the dining area it was a nice surprise. It was clean and the service was very good. The French toast is amazing, is huge and between the regular and the one with strawberry and banana I would definitely suggest the plain one. Very good!

The new shrimp appetizer, excellent, the big steak omelet my wife favorite, Shirloin steak juice and tasty service very good

Food was good, not great. Hostess was a bit defensive and more argumentative than necessary when I asked for extra powdered sugar on my French toast. Wanted me to know that they always put sufficient amounts of powdered sugar on their French toast, but people always complain because it dissolves so that it can't be seen anymore by the time they get it home. I really didn't care about all that - just wanted extra powdered sugar. So, either avoid the French toast, or avoid asking for extra French toast here.

Ordered cowboy burger. Was delicious. Waited too long to be seated, but everything ended up being good.

Was at IHOP last week with my friend he ordered a waffle with eggs, links. I had a fruit bowl. The waitress was very polite and the food was on time. My friend waffle was not hot enough so I ask her if she can re warm it again she did and apologized. For most of all everything was wonderful.

Manager friendly with in reason. Constant attention to detail for customer and service to make sure restaurant stay safe. My favorite is the Bacon Temptation omelet with side of toast. Server's are my favorite people who serve to please.

Yay for IHOP for giving a discount to folks who are 55 and older. I ordered the eggs and pancakes without the meat, called 55 + 2 × 2 × 2. It's $7.39. I told the waitress I don't eat meat and asked if she could give me toast instead at no extra charge. She said yes. Well I was charged for the toast though I didn't get bacon or sausage. It was $2.69. The manager said toast is extra. I told her meat costs more than bread. She said it doesn't. The side of toast is more than the meat? Instead of arguing I just paid for my bill. The mango iced tea is good. If you don't like it too sweet, they can put the mango syrup on unsweet tea. And I could get a refill of the mango tea at no extra cost. In conclusion, getting toast instead of pork shouldn't cost more.

I was moved with irritation, because I walked in of course the employees were busy, in what seemed to be an empty rather than full store. After a while two employees acknowledged that someone would be right with me. ( This however, wasn't the case) I gave the benefit of doubt. Well, it's now a full visible entryway ( now). And due to me wanting to order take out , I moved out of the way. ( Silly, to think other people would be considered 😂, this too was foolish on my behalf) anyway, the crowd was noticed. No one said , she was here first , nor did an employee suggest that they take care of me first( since I was first) I waited 😞 the second group of people have now entered and I'm very disappointed, and unhappy. So I speak up, what on Earth is my problem. Anyway, this post is about the carelessness of others. And truly not being mindful of others. I hope that this isn't a behavior that this particular IHOP is famous for. Selfishness gone wild

Came to ihop for it's ihoppy hour. The things on the ihoppy hour menu is $5. I think it's really worth it to get pancakes with cheese and ham omelette, chicken fingers with pancakes, breakfast bowl, and I got a burger just because I wanted some fries. The service is good the only thing to complain is that I waited a bit until I receive my meal.

Great food, excellent service. My server Homero A. was spectacular. He moved like a super hero throughout the restaurant, taking multiple orders, checking on all his tables including mine while making it look like a walk in the park. I was impressed and humbled because despite how busy it was, he was still so polite and kind to me.

Great food. Great service. The bacon breakFEAST is awesome if you get there while it's available. Only downside was the greeter stepping "out of site" to be on her phone while we wait for her to clear a table but hardly a factor when comparing the food and our server.

Staff was excellent, would've thought we were visiting royality. Food fit for royality. Truly could not have been better! ( the staff should all be given a raise)
