I would say it is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food is tasteful. It is a family owned restaurant since 1996. The waitresses are friendly. The price is fair with the potions we got. Free Vietnamese yogurt desserts. I would definitely come back.

Maybe it was not a good day for them or it was a different chef but I thought the food was just okay. The pho was bland. I had the lemongrass salmon which could have used more lemongrass flavoring. The steamed vegetables was strange combo to me. This place was cute. They also only had one server and the poor gal has to answer the phone, manage all the tables and check people out. I felt bad for her and the owner came out and was still yelling at her but she was trying her best. Maybe worth a 2nd try but with all the options in Houston for viet food I doubt I’ll be back

Our go to pho spot 🤩 You will not find a cleaner restaurant than this. The pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee are to die for & I can’t even tell you how amazing the service is. A very relaxing and welcoming mom & pop place you should deff try!

Finally posting a review for this place that my husband and I love going to for lunch. We got Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Chicken Summer Role, Chicken Pho, and Caramelized Ginger Chicken. The portion sizes are good, the food is great, the staff is friendly and caring, and the ambience is relaxing.

Our first time here. Received a nice welcome. The menu is typical of a Vietnamese comfort food, but somehow the flavors are better than the average Pho restaurant. We order a classic Pho soup, then a papaya salad and summer rolls. To be honest the summer rolls were hohum and peanut sauce was not offered. Overall a good experience.

The appetizers were good. I had ordered the viet egg rolls and the summer rolls. I honestly enjoyed the appetizers more than the pho I had. 3.5/5 for the pho and a 8/10 for the rolls. I gotta try their entrees next time.

Tucked away in a tiny plaza Miss Saigon Cafe is a real treat - however, better tasting pho broth can be found. I like this place in spite of its short comings in the pho department. The staff are friendly, super friendly, very attentive but not over bearing. It’s a pleasant dining experience - and good food. You can’t really ask for more. On to the review. Vietnamese coffee, banh mi, pho. That’s the sequence of my order (from least difficult to most complex - the pho). Are there others awesome things on the menu - yes. But it’s like a brunch spot getting a scrambled egg right - if they can do that - go to town on the rest of the menu. The above mentioned are the litmus test for what I consider to be a good Vietnamese restaurant. Miss Saigon didn’t disappoint on the first 2, but faltered on the pho tai. The coffee was strong, rich and served in a traditional metal brew filer perched above a glass mug. The condensed milk as already in the glass waiting for the brew to complete and filter. A glass containing ice accompanied the mug. It tasted as expected. The banh mi was good. Ok - it was really good. I will no doubt be back for another. I recommend the shredded chicken due to its greater flavor profile. The contents were traditional. The bread was crispy on the outside - warm and soft on the inside. It wasn’t overly bready and the proportions were perfect. I don’t know what they sprinkled on top - but it was a perfect complement to their flavor profile. You won’t be disappointed. The pho tai - I was sorely disappointed in its overall taste. The complexity was there. You can tell it wasn’t made an hour ago but allowed to steep and develop over time, however, no notes really sang out. It seemed rather flat in spite of the flavors that were obviously present. This was confusing to me. While I did try to finish the bowl, I did so reluctantly, and I didn’t finish it. I couldn’t. I welcome others to try and pho broth and see if I’m being overly critical - but I’ve found really good tasting broth has a very harmonious bursting of flavors on the palate. Where not one is front and center but rather each spice having its moment together. That’s the best way I can describe it. Overall this is a solid spot. Try the banh mi. And I would still say to try the pho - maybe it was their off day the day I walked in.

I went to the Miss Saigon Cafe last nite and went before they were open but Kinh ( “ Miss Saigon” ) did not hesitate to encourage me to sit down and order dinner w a “Buddah” beer and an excellent seafood hotpot. She is a wonderful lady and I love their small ,excellent cafe .

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food is full of flavor and absolutely delicious - I highly recommend it. The desserts were the perfect end to the meal, especially the banana flabe. On top of that, the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. She even gave my mom little gift . But the standout for me was definitely the Vietnamese coffee - I am still dreaming about how good it tasted. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I can't wait to repeat. :)
