Kanomwan - Houston - Photo album

I have been coming here for over 13 years. Still the Best Thai restaurant in Houston to me. Every dish has its own unique flavor and presentation. It's not like other Thai restaurants that I been to that use the same spices and noodles on every dish combination. This place is truly family owned and
This place is a hole in the wall that attracts lots of people. The food is delicious and the service is fast. They make sure to tend to you and take care of your needs.
I don’t remember if I’ve reviewed this place before so forgive me if I’ve reviewed it twice. This place is excellent! The menu is not complicated with a thousand options- they do a simple, delicious menu. I love the subtlety of the flavors- a hint of lemon, a touch of ginger. None of it is insanely
-Outstanding Food- This place is somewhat of a Houston secret restaurant, located behind a few buildings. The Kanomwan is by far the utmost best Thai cuisine I can say that I’ve had the experience to enjoy. The mass variety of flavors surpasses the awesome array of dishes one could find at the Kanom
Food is very good, but if you have an appetite, one dish may not be enough. Had the Nur Pad Nam Mun Hoi (beef with onions and mushrooms with oyster sauce). Place is not easy to see from Telephone Road. Follow the signs near the intersection with the fire station to find it.
I recommend satae whenever you get the chance to enjoy it. They have a good peanut sauce, and I appreciate there freshly done vegetables. The food is good, and the service was excellent. Not the best Thai food I have had but enjoyable. The superb service and unlimited rice with our order while eatin
Kanomwan was just reopening, not all of the menu was available yet, but no matter, the Thom Ka Gai soup was as great as ever, the chili shrimp and Pad Thai wonderful. I've been coming here more than 20 years now and it's still the most authentic Thai food in town. One of my favorite restaurants. ❤
I love Kanomwan. Good Thai food and close location to my work. It's always packed in this place and that's because the food is good. They are BYOB at 5pm. PRICES Well they have gone up. Years back when the "Thai Nazi" was alive you could walk out with a full belly for 10 bucks.. Now you end up wal
Been going here for years even before the new digs. Sad the Old Man is no longer there, he was an exceptional guy. Very funny! He is and will be missed! The food is as good or better than I have had even in Thailand. Authentic and delicious. Great place and will continue to return.
Best Thai food in town. Bold and spicy flavors in all dishes. Lots of game and exotic meats - from frogs to alligators. Fast and quick service too- don't know how they serve such amazing food so fast!
I've been to Kanomwan no more than 3 times and always enjoy their food, but this time, I ordered the Pad Ped and although it tasted delicious it was very salty. No big deal, I ordered a different plate. I didn't wait that long for my new dish to arrive, but when it did, the waitress/cash register la
We've been going to this restaurant for at least 20 years. It's still as Good as it ever was. By far the best Thai food in town. Our favorites are h5 and h6 and S3.
The decor is nothing to report on, but the food is delicious and unique. The Thai food has a homemade, authentic taste to it that will be different from all the other Thai places you've tried. The old-school nickname for this place is "Telephone Thai," because of where it's located. Highly recommend
Have been going to this place for more than 25 years. Everyone that I have shared this place with has been a returning customer. The soups and curries are very flavorful. The chicken with cashews and chili paste must be the most popular item on the menu.
