There is a subtle laid back elegance with a wide range of food choices, wonderful live entertainment which does not interrupt your conversations, and impeccable service from Mr. Elias Deek and his well dressed staff. The banquet room in the back is a real gem for those special occasions. No wonder this place has been around for so many years. I highly recommend everyone try this place.
Why I’ve never been here is beyond me. This hidden gem is truly a find along 1960-land. Nestled between Walgreens and Party City lies incredible food, fantastic drinks, friendly personnel, and an atmosphere that lets you forget all your troubles and cares while you listen to live music crooned by two very friendly musicians!!
Went for the first time last night.....was greeted with such respect by a wonderful gentleman who I assume is the owner. The buffet was fantabulous!! He took the time to show us each dish and I really appreciated that. Our waitress Suhair was also wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. She treated my kids with such respect and addressed them by their names all evening. The chef at the buffet table was also quite friendly and respectful. As for the food...OMGosh!! Awesome!!!
They have a gained my family as regular customers now, can't wait to go back and try their breakfast!
This place is fabulous. Great food, atmosphere, music & the best crowd ever. Love it!
Excellent food and love this place. Bar Tender is one of the best. Music last night, Johann Matheson was great.

This has got to be one of the best restaurants I have discovered. I had the chicken parmigiano and it just melts in your mouth. They have a very diverse menu and something for everyone. Will definitely be making it one of my go to got spots.

Even though it is not an overly fancy place it has phenomenal food. The staff are so friendly that we feel like family every time we go. Saturday is our favorite day because of the buffet. I have even asked if I could take the chef home but alas he is already taken.
I had the opportunity to work here during high school and summers while in college. Worked for 3 different owners. Washed dishes and then worked as a waiter. I loved the Lairds. The third owners, the Deeks (not sure if spelling is right) were my favorite bosses ever. Elias and Caroline treated us like family and took their role seriously as both employers and mentors. Taught me so much about life and business. Much love and many fond memories. Still a fantastic place to eat and relax.
A lot of fun. A bit of dancing. Good food and drinks. Best part is the piano/keyboard player and the karaoke singing to his playing. His daughter is awesome. Friday nights are the best.
Excellent Italian
We stopped into Clementines on recommendation from a person on the side of a soccer field. We wanted pasta. I’m so glad that we did. The looks like an incredible secret! This places atmosphere is darling. They’ve live music in the bar. We were seated immediately. The server was excellent with recommendations from the menu. The food is most incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Clementine's is a "drive-by" restaurant. By that I mean it's the sort of place you're apt to drive by without an inkling of stopping especially in view of the fact it doesn't have roadside frontage tucked away in a mini strip mall on FM 1960 in the Champions area where there are multiple restaurants on every block. I ended up dining there because I met a friend who has been patronizing Clementine's for many years. I enjoyed the experience so much so that I returned a second time. Clementine's is open for lunch and dinner. The owner is in the store and I had a chance to chat with him at length and learn the backstory of how he decided to open the restaurant, which was intriguing. For my money's worth Clementine's is a good value. Their food is pretty decent; try their salads. This is not the most exciting place you can imagine to dine at still it's worth giving them a try if you are looking for someplace different and locally owned.
The BEST Restaurant EVER. We had the pleasure of dining at Clementine's last night. We both had the daily specials. I had the beef filet and my partner had the catfish and shrimp. His fish was absolutely delicious and he is somewhat of a picky eater. He said he's going to order it again. My beef couldn't have been more PERFECT. It was so tender and succulent that I hardly needed a knife to cut it and it almost melted in my mouth. The mushroom sauce was delicious. I'll order it again. I also had a bowl of gumbo and it was so good, I ordered two bowls to go.
Kudos to the chef and the proprietor of this fine dining restaurant. Without a doubt, we will frequent this restaurant. Oh, the wine list is excellent and my wine was wonderful.
Good Food- Slow Service. Yummy food but be prepared to wait a while. Don't be in a hurry and if you call in an order wait a good 45 min before you head over to pick it up!
Amazing pizza, chicken, milkshake, ect. Extremely Friendly servers I LOVE IT
Alright main dishes, pretty good french onion soup. Wine is very reasonable priced.
YUM. Great restaurant with a great atmosphere and there is always a daily special. This is a family owned and operated business and the owners know most of their customers by name, very friendly environment. They have a fantastic wine selection/wine bar and appetizers! GREAT LOCAL eatery and hangout!
I'll say I like it but.... The place keeps going downhill. I picture Gordon Ramsey going in there and scaring me with what may be going on behind the scenes. However, maybe that is what this formerly good restaurant needs to get it going again. If the owner sees this review, please step it up and return to your former glory, okay? I can't return until it is well advertised that you are fully improved, so when (if) you improve, ADVERTISE like crazy.
Clementine's was such a pleasant surprise! I was visiting Texas from South Carolina, and my sister and mom thought the online menu looked great, so we stopped in. The service was incredible, and our server was excellent. The kitchen was so accommodating to several allergies at our table, and the food was delicious. I honestly cannot name one single thing that made the experience unpleasant. The restaurant is inviting, though the exterior does look like a storefront in a strip mall. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was perfect! I cannot wait to visit the Houston area again so I can get another glass of their sweet tea and the heirloom tomatoes appetizer!
We were in the area visiting the Scout Shop. I had heard a couple at church say they used to go all the time.
There was not many people when we got there. We were sat right away. Our waitress was there super quick.
The food was very good. He had the patty melt and I had the BLT. The toast was not even on both sides but it was a good BLT.
The inside had a classic old world feel.
That also have a very banquet room with outside entrance.
I've wanted to try this place for years and I should have come years ago.
The atmosphere was lovely, the service impeccable, and the food was amazing!
Everything we had was awesome; Calamari Fritti, Lobster Cannelloni, & Pollo Francesca (it's enough for 2 people).
Even the garlic bread was perfect!
Will definitely be back again!
This is a nice place to have a great evening dinner. The interior has a nice style of old school time (even though not really). Also the staff was nice. They make you feel like family down there. The cleanliness is a little questionable. It has a moderate status of clean, while some parts are into some questions. The food was nice. There are two ways you can eat here for the night. It's either the regular menu or the Saturday prime rib buffet. The regular menu night is quite acceptable to have a great night. They offer a soup along with your entree. It's decent but not as good as any other soup. Appetizers are actually good and worth it here even though it is meant to fill you up and pay up big. Go for their specials which has big portions, decent price, and actually savory flavor. Desserts are guilty pleasures. Now the buffet is simple. You grab what you want there and you got a great night ahead. Overall a great place to go for dinner with the family.
This place is a little hidden secret. The food is amazing. I've traveled throughout the United States and this gem of a place is my favorite in Houston for delicious food and excellent service. Saying the food is delicious doesn't do it justice. I go atleast once a week but usually twice weekly because it is such a value. If you try this place , you won't be disappointed. They deserve 6 stars.
Very calm environment. Closest thing to a GREAT home cooked meal I love it here . My food was delicious . My waitress is very sweet 5 stars ✨
The food was amazing and yummy. The service was excellent my first time and will come back 👍👍👍👍
Today was our first visit to Clementine’s, and we will be returning for the delicious breakfast and excellent service. Omelettes are large and portions of breakfast potatoes and grits were big!
Entering into the building from outside going inside , the customers that were eating seemed to be very uncomfortable to see a dark customers come in and eat, as if it was year 1964.
The place is amazing and very beautiful.
Beside the stares. There were two lovely musicians and a singer , people were dancing.
The waiter and all the employees were absolutely kind, provided great service and very attentive to your needs .
There was one older man after having too many ,came and spoke with us about joining him on the dance floor.
The atmosphere is very friendly & relaxing .
The food was delicious.
Their crab cakes are very tasty, I wish I had ordered more.
There was a bar that I didn't attend but next time I will forsure for some wine.
I will be back !!
A great local experience! The food was tasty the music was a treat! A mature crowd but so enjoyable! Prices very very reasonable definitely would come back with the hopes for same experience.
What a fantastic find.. great food and a great staff.
If your looking for dinner with the family or a quiet place for a date.. this is it.
Wonderful breakfast on a Saturday morning with ZERO wait time. Menu has something for everyone and prices are reasonable. Coffee kept coming, but machine could probably use a cleaning. Outside was a little run down, so we weren't sure before going in, but so glad we did. With the overall experience and tasty food, we will definitely be back. You can tell it's a local's favorite.
My husband and I decided to try Clementine's on a whim and were not disappointed! As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted and made to feel like family. Service was exceptional and the veal parm hit the spot. We will be coming back to try the other dishes offered.
Great place to eat, good service!

Eaten here several times!!
Walked in saw people laughing having a good time even with harvey tearin stuff up. Place feels good. Smiles on faces, people on the patio. Felt good going in there! Severs, owner, bartender great service.
This was also the day i stepped out of my comfort zone ( i stop being cheap ) and bought the $20 land and steak. White seafood creamy sauce, steam veggies, veal strips, small cuts of crab meat,[hidden]spinach, and potatoes.
Sorry for the bad picture(s) and the non ambiance that this place has its a nice place!! i just have to run back to work due to being short handed...but where else can you get steak and fish to go.
Veal is super soft plastic fork you can just rub it and it cuts. The potatoes were damn good! Seasoned crunchy (i wont lie i rubbed some in the seafood sauce too!) The sauce and veggies were ok i used the salt and pepper packets to season it up(my taste preference) the side salad was basic salad but the homemade sun died dressing made it come together! the meat was like a chuck steak thinly cut 3 - 2oz? strips lightly seared covered with the seafood sauce over spinach... The spinach and crab meat was good combo! I wish it was a thick cut steak or chop but wasn't bad the angus might be next on my list. IMHO best results taste and experience would be to dine in.
Interesting place, I am not sure what to describe it as but it puts out solid food with a very American dinner vibe despite the atmosphere being French Cajun.
The catfish is good, chicken fried steak is great, the breakfast tacos are also fantastic but name a through line of those items. I don’t see any but I do not mind because good food is good food.
