Service has improved. Anwar did great! Hookahs are 12.99 and up. Atmosphere beautiful. Prefer Ice Water but I'm sure bottles are more sanitary. Desserts great!

I've been a number of times. Predominantly for the food! Jenya was our server, and she was tip notch! She kept checking in on us, gave good feedback on our selections, and encouraged us to try new things. Ask for her if you can. The whole rotisserie chicken is amazing! It's well flavored! Tasty! Juicy! Eat it! Also, the Greek salad with added kabob chicken is amazing. Hummus is amazing!! Fatoush is outstanding. Saffron is outstanding. The lamb chops are delicious! I licked my fingers! Oh my gosh, AND the garlic butter is wonderful! You get a great amount of food. Did I mention the soft, fresh pitas! The fresh fruit juices!!! The mixed berries drink was amazing!!! The lemonade is super tart! Beware but it's Tasty!! They are working on the decor, to make it more beautiful! They've a patio. Hookahs. Affordable prices! All great things!!! Annnnnnd, let's talk about the family atmosphere! You will see people lounging and talking. It's casual. You can get event space. Folks also play cards and dominoes and watch the sports on the TV. It's a good space. No alcohol served for religious purposes, but they do not push any of that on you. Now, do NOT order what is not Mediterranean. It's not good.

Very nice place to go on weekend nights with live music and a lovely vibe. This place is usually packed on weekend evenings. They have outside and inside seating. They have really nice interiors and wherever you sit, it's all good. We just tried their hummus and pita which was freshly made but was okay in taste. 3.5/5. However, their virgin mojito was really good.

We always go to Layal whenever we’re in Texas. Highly recommended for families and friends if you guys want to hang out with each other, Layal definitely got the best atmosphere for it. The service is nice, and the food is always good.

I recently visited Layal Cafe on Richmond, and I had an outstanding experience thanks to Joli, our waitress. Her service was truly exceptional and made our dining experience memorable. Joli was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She provided excellent recommendations from the menu, and her knowledge of the dishes was impressive. First time visiting…had some of the best authentic Mediterranean food tonight at Layal! Lamb & beef kabob plates…the portions were humongous!! Shout out to our server Omar who was great…provided service with a smile. He didn’t mind me asking “what is this and what is that? From the hot tea with mint to the hookah…wonderful from start to finish! The owners know what they are doing..I felt like I was sitting somewhere in Jordan!

Throughout our dining experience, the manager and staff made multiple visits to ensure our satisfaction. I got the Arayes Pizza. Service was kinda slow. I called prior and was told 10 min. When I arrived 5 min later, they told me another 15 min. I’ve been here before and got the steak and hookah, both of which were fine.

Relax and family friendly atmosphere. Our server Ahmed was super attentive , nice and fast. Took care of us during our visit and checked in with us at all times. Enjoyed our meals ! One of the best hookah coffeeshops in Houston and the place is really big and amazing. The renovations going on bow will make this place outstanding! Very reasonable prices for their menu items and the portions are really generous! The food quality is amazing as well. The owner is a very respectful person and all the staff are friendly and professional.

Just Got New Menu . Nice hookah place with nice Mediterranean food . Their full roasted chicken is superb. Full of energy and very friendly staff. Their owner Hassan is very attentive and real concerned about his business. I saw him going table to table to inquired about food and service. New menu is coming next week . This place open late night and very safe . Valet parking with no charges but you pay as you please as a tip to hard working guys . I would ask Hassan to update their toilets and inside cleanness.

After seeing a lot of generic restaurants in town; Layla is by far the best mediterranean banquet hall & restaurant I've been to, The food is authentic, fresh, clean, generous, an amazing place for family dinners and event catering, the service goes above and beyond satisfaction The service staff make sure you're always satisfied happy with a personal touch, the atmosphere is like no other so this is the right place to entertain friends come chill out and if you have a sweet tooth the creps and desserts are more than satisfying & very much addictive and let's not forget that at Layal you get the best clean hookah in town. I urge everyone to try it I'm sure you're gonna love it ever since I've discovered this place I've been going there at least 5 times a week.
