Since the wifey moved to Houston, near the galleria area, she found this gem close to her. She's been going to this restaurant and found it to be authentic and fresh. This evening, she wanted me to tried it out. We were greeted and they were very friendly. That's very important to me to feel welcome. I ordered pho tai and wife ordered her grilled meat spring roll, the way they plated and display the food was awesome especially the pho. They pushed out a cart with a bowl of pho without the broth, I was shocked at first but then she had a kettle and pour the light beefy broth into the bowl. The pho was delicious, light but also very hearty. I eat a lot pho, by far, this was a great experience. I recommend this place, oh wait! I forgot about the spoons of the creme. It was perfect, not too sweet and a nice crust of sugar. I was very please and definitely would go back. Overall, amazing food experience and amazing hospitality.
Very delicious! Nice little Vietnamese restaurant in a shopping strip with friendly waiters, good sized portions, and quick service. I ordered the Old Saigon Vermicelli bowl and the grilled pork had great flavor and was a thick piece of meat. The two shrimp were full sized and just as delicious. My boyfriend's banh mi was full of pork and very good, could have used a couple extra slices of jalapeños, but he likes things spicy. This will be our new go to Vietnamese spot!

Food was good. Definitely recommend the Vegetarian egg rolls, Spicy Lemongrass chicken and the Banh mi sandwich. We modified the Banh mi sandwich to shaken chicken. My favorite was the Spicy Lemongrass chicken.
I do recommend this restaurant for Vietnamese food and I am definitely going back soon!
I was so glad that I found Old Saigon Cafe on Westheimer. I came here to enjoy lunch after church. Great food quality and awesome service.
Absolutely loved it! My mom and I came for lunch, it was so GOOD. The staff were very friendly; the service was excellent! As we were leaving one of the gentlemen opened the door for us, that was a nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
Decent food. The shrimp pho was pretty good. The fresh rolls were nicely presented and tasted good. The fried spring rolls were crispy and tasty. Service was friendly. At the end of the meal, they gave us a spoonful of creme brulee with the check which I thought was really nice.
Just incredible. Amazing dishes. I had the coconut curry with tofu and LOVED it. So did everyone else. The pho was also perfect. I want to eat it all over again. We finished our meal with creme brûlée spoons!
First time here and we loved the Pho. I ordered the Old Saigon Pho and the broth was very flavorful, veggie plate was fresh, and the serving is huge!
Our waiter was super sweet! I love how quiet it was, it was a friendly atmosphere, and the place is really nice.
Everything was fabulous! Very authentic flavors (I have live in south east Asia). The Pho have a very flavorful broth. The Spivey Lemongrass Chicken probably was my favorite but everything was good. Meat was very moist and not over cooked. Prices range a lot but the quality is there and everything was worth what we paid. Everyone was very nice and helpful at the restaurant and it was packed at lunch so clearly people like it.
Amazing viet food!! Super friendly service. Complimentary crème brûlée on a spoon was an awesome surprise at the end of the meal! Were enough free tables on Friday night.
Can definitely recommend crab meat curry and the vermicelli duck 💯
My fiancé and I always go to new places when we are in Houston and we will definitely be breaking our rule next time to come back! Pho and ramen was phenomenal! Service was 10/10, the server’s anticipated our every move as well as everyone else’s. I do not understand how this place was not absolutely packed at 12 when we got there! They deserve a packed out restaurant with a wait and I would definitely wait just to eat here again! Also the crème brûlée spoons were complimentary and a very nice touch!
