Ambassador Chinese Restaurant - Houston - Photo album

Friendly, clean, very pleasant atmosphere, fantastic crab puffs, orange chicken was delicious, black pepper shrimp was extraordinary. Staff was very accommodating and attentive without crowding me or making me feel pressured. If I lived closer, I'd visit often. It's worth an hour drive though.
I recently discovered the Chinese Ambassador restaurant, and I’m so happy I did! I love the food, and Fernando always is so attentive and professional! If you want a great meal you should check out their great menu!
I have been eating here since 1977. The food is excellent and consistent. Appetizers are excellent as well. Same family ownership and desire to create the best experience. Enjoy!!!
Wow! This place was great! From the hostess, to the server & the owner was amazing! Everyone was so welcoming & the food was a 10/10!!! I brought my girl friend here for a nice dinner and I will definitely be returning!! My fav Chinese restaurant in town!
This is a long time culinary treasure in Houston . We’ve been eating here for nearly 40 years . Through all the ups and downs this place has always been our comfort space . Warm unassuming and comfortable . The food is always great and the service excellent . In this age of cookie cutter corporate
This has become my go to lunch restaurant. The food is fresh and hot. I've tried multiple items on their lunch menu and nothing has disappointed me. In fact, everything has been great. I especially like the Mongolian Beef, pictured.
Great experience with friends. Definitely recommend the ribs and fried rice. Had a chance to meet the owners, awesome service.
We have been customers of this restaurant for years. It's a neighborhood institution, family owned and operated, and the dishes they serve are home made. We love Mandarin Beef and Spicy Fried Eggplant. Also love their big homemade cabbage egg rolls and their pork dumplings. The staff treats us li
It's really hard to find good vegetarian food in Houston, and this Chinese restaurant keeps it really interesting. They have their Chinese food staples in vegetarian form: dumplings, egg rolls, and noodles. And then they have their stars, like the Vegetable Manchurian (deep fried vegetable balls) an

Amazing food!! The staff is great! We met one of the owners and she spent time talking to us. Amazing! Not many owners do that. We will definitely be making the trip back to Houston just because of this restaurant.
Been going to Ambassador for over 25 years, It never disappoints. To start, the hand rolled egg rolls are amazing and every thing else always tastes perfectly delicious. Must try the Hot Braised Prawns so flavorful, never found anything even close to this dish anywhere. Love the clean coziness along
I’m just going to agree with Jay Francis and let his review stand. Food is a 3, but staff is a 5. Overall I had a decent meal and was not disappointed. Wasn’t blown away, but still enjoyed it. Staff really is the difference here. Every single person was nice and friendly. Even as I’m leaving I hear
