My friend and I were looking for a Mediterranean place in the Memorial area and decided on Island Grill last minute. So glad we chose your quaint little place. It was absolutely delicious food and impeccable service. Will definitely be back again and refer others. Thank you.
I love their food, I love their customer service, I love everything about this place. Thank you Joanne and Freddy for making my experience great every time.
What a great restaurant. Went for dinner on a weeknight, service was friendly and fast. Ordered a chicken and beef kebab with fries, and a chicken pita. The food was absolutely delicious and the manager brought out a sample of baklava that was delicious. The beef on the kebab was so well cooked, the meat was tender with great flavor.
My first visit. The food was very delicious. The lady that took my order was so patient in helping me decide what to order. She was very knowledgeable. My food smelled so good and look so delicious before I took my first bite. I plan to return soon.
We had falafel pita thing. It was not bad. It wasn’t enough to feed two though. I liked the falafel part of it and mushrooms. I wanted to add a side dish but suddenly my bill went over $20, so I asked: how did my $11 dish become over $20? Anyway I liked the atmosphere of the place and the free ice cream cone! Paying customers only, 1 cone per. We do get a lot more food at Chipotle for less, but for my birthday tried something new.
The food was good, with some interesting combinations of ingredients beyond what are typical in pita sandwiches. For example, including sautéed onions and mushrooms is unusual in a gyro, but worked well. The steak pita with Swiss cheese was also very good, and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. It is for these reasons I rated 4 rather than 3. The food seems more Greek-American fusion than authentic Greek, but certainly was tasty. The atmosphere is typical counter-ordering basic. Unfortunately, each time someone opened the front door, the napkins etc went flying around our table (admittedly it was getting a little breezy outside, but patrons enter directly into the dining table area).
Loved their breakfast options, amazing flavor, fast service, sitting are was neat. Definitely recommended.
I love this place … because my wife loves this place. I am not a kabob kind of guy but their chicken plate, pita bread and hummus are great. I also like keeping it super simple with chicken & rice. What really makes this place worth a drive all the way from Katy is the staff!! You would think you are at a fine dining restaurant with the way the staff is soooo attentive. Always checking on you, always asking how they can make your food exactly the way you want it. More than appt to alter their menu to meet your needs. That is priceless. Oh ya… the free frozen yogurt doesn’t hurt either.
Love everything here. The gyro sandwich is delicious. The free soft serve when you are finished is a lite finish..
Great staff, Great pricing, Great food. Thank you for being Great found my new morning spot
My first time here and my food was fresh and tasty. I stopped by during lunch hour and had a good wait but it was well worth it. All the food coming out to diff tables looked yummy and fresh cooked. I got the chicken pita with reg and sweet potato fries. Both fries were good but the reg potato were better. The chicken was well seasoned the veggies crisp and the garlic sauce had you wanting a bucket full lol. I will definitely be coming back for their burger it seemed to be a popular option amongst the other guests. Also not sure if it was the owner or manager but he was very kind and attentive.
Great lunch here. I had the kale salad with strawberries. Loved it.
Easy to get to, off the 10 feeder. It's relatively small soit gets busy but the service is great and they handle the volume well.
