Their usual closing hour is 3PM and it was 830PM so I went in to see if they were really open and sure enough they were. I was told that they’re in the process of extending their business hours beyond 3PM, which is nice. From what it seems the new hours is tentative. The pastelitos I had are great as well as service. The one they ran out was the spinach Alfredo pastelito so I’ll need to come back another time to try that. The empanada was also recommended, but saving that for next time. Great atmosphere for nighttime dining experience. John was nice enough to even throw in an extra pastelito and a water. Awesome!
Jose gave me such a warm welcome 🤗 and the service is excellent.
The food 🥘 is Venezuelan cuisine.
You need try the “Pastelitos” which is similar to an empanada but is breaded and the meat and spinach were amazing 🤩
The serving portions are very generous
Typical Venezuelan food restaurant, basic but convenient menu for South America food lovers.
Pabellon, Empanadas and Breakfast are all good options. Cachapas need a little improvement.
This place deserves 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The coffee was delicious
I highly recommend spinach alfredo pastelitos and empanadas de cazon OMG that was so good!
Note: The empanadas are large and delicious 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I absolutely love this place! Their empanadas are the best! This place makes you feel like home. They are the sweetest and nicest people! ❤
I read some great reviews on the cafe and so I decided to give it a try. It is definitely a lovely cafe. The color of the wall, paintings hang on the wall, solid wood tables and chairs, all combined into an elegant, relaxing and light hearted atmosphere. Both of us ordered Latte and we are impressed. The dessert was creamy and rich. The staffs were very friendly but not overdoing it. We really had a nice afternoon at this place and will recommend it to anyone.
From the Owner to all of the Staff. Everyone was great along with the food. It was my first time visiting and will definitely not be my last. Thank You Jose (owner) for sharing your testimony with us. For praying with us. For simply being a blessing to us. Your My Brother in Christ whom I truly love. Blessings to you and your family.
Excelente experience trying Venezuelan food for the first time. The service was very attentive, I felt very comfortable and well received. I tried empanadas, tequeños, arepa and pastelito de carne. I highly recommend the pastelito de carne, was amazing! Certainly I will come back :)
Amazing experience, I got to take my wife to try an authentic Venezuelan flavor.
Super sweet workers and even better food! The tequeños are to die for! If you’re in the area, or even if you aren’t, it’s worth the drive. For those who don’t eat meat there are many vegetarian options as well that are clearly labeled on the menu!
The second you walk in you are greeted by a friendly staff. The food is delicious and comes out quickly. The staff was very attentive and the environment very clean. Great food. Highly recommend.
I just moved to Houston and I’ve been adjusting and finding my way around especially with finding good homey food! When I walked in with my cousin and best friend this past weekend we were greeted by the sweet staff but also by the owner himself. He came to our table and spoke with us, as well as explaining everything on the menu to us. The food was way pastttt 10/10! I have to say this is by far one of the best places I’ve experienced in Houston so far!
Drove from Dallas to celebrate my 30th! Stumbled upon this delicious little cafe!
Must have the pastelitos, they were absolutely amazing. The empanada was better than the other Empanada spot in Houston!
Service was kind and amazing, and felt super homey!
Come visit for a great bite of food!
The food I tried was good but not great. We had cheese arepas which were actually good and a cachapa that was not as taste as others I have had in Houston.
The papaya juice I had was a bit watery for my taste.
The service was a bit slow but they are really friendly and accommodating. I would suggest other Venezuelan places near by and then compare.
I’ve gone to this lovely Cafe twice, the food is fresh, excellent and authentic. The decor festive and the servers both friendly and competent. The Owner, even took the time to greet us. Would totally recommend and come again!
We felt right at home here. Great quality dishes and friendly service. The owner is very gracious. I was happy to see many vegetarian options on the menu. Gracias por todo.
Great place for breakfast and brunch. Coffee with strong flavor and good temperature. Empanadas, tequeños and pasteles perfectly fried. Just one is enough to be plenty. "Carne Mechada" was the best filling. Good service
