Plonk! Bistro & Wine Cellar - Houston - Photo album

Went here a week ago last Saturday for a glass of wine and light entrees. We sat on the patio and had a lovely glass of wine before our food. Unlike other places, the music was at a nice level and we could actually have a conversation. Our food was divine; my husband had the oysters, I had the crab
We just had an amazing wine-pairing dinner at Plonk! featuring the Pacific Northwest! They have the most amazing pork chops. Highly recommended you try this neighborhood hidden gem!!! Scott, owner and visionary, is passionate about great food, wine, and service.
I brought everyone here for a birthday dinner and every single person said they wanted to come back to try more wine and more food. The staff is very friendly and were very accommodating for our group. They have a wide range of wine with varying prices so you can easily stay in budget but still try
Attentive and warm service 🫶 Cozy, European vibe. Delicious food, quality drinks. Our special occasion GEM 💎
After talking it up, my friend wanted to try so we came. We were seated right away but it took several minutes for anyone to come by and take our order..we even discussed just leaving altogether. In the end - the food was great. The atmosphere (outside on the patio) was great, but the service see
Well this is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood! A friend of mine recommended it to me one night. The next day we had to try it since we are foodies. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. It’s a great place to hang out either at the bar, outside, or dining in. The waiter was excellent
Not going to lie. I did work there in the past. I have also worked in some of the finest restaurants in town, and dined at the best restaurants in the U.S. The quality of food versus price is bar none in the customer’s favor. The wine prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazing. Food times m
If your looking for a great wine bar in Houston, Texas…this is one of the best wine spots to go to! This spot was great for a recent date night. It has the best patio where we were able to eat good food and drink some great wine. The staff seemed really knowledgeable. The chef even stopped by our t
Upon arrival the door was opened for us and we were ushered to a table. The service was fantastic and the food was great with good portions. The only downside was the noise. It was a busy night (good for them) so we needed to speak loudly along with everyone else. I would recommend this as a place f
So excited to discover this gem of a spot in our neighborhood! Open yet cozy space, compact menu w original offerings using fresh, quality ingredients. Everyone was very helpful exploring the food and wine offerings for our first visit. Can’t wait to get back.
Came here for a wine tasting event. Understand why Plonk stays bustling and busy. Good vibes. A great selection of interesting wines, lots of options by the glass. And the food is delicious. The chef Kala even put together a food and wine pairing menu, which we tried. Thanks for a fun evening.
What a great meal! Took the wife for a date night, sat at the bar, and was waited in by Bryan! Guy was incredibly knowledgeable on dialing in our pallets for the wine, and found the perfect glass for me and my wife! He made every attempt to make our date night special. You simply don’t find that lev

I visited Plonk yesterday for the first time. Even though our party arrived around 10:30pm (they close at 11pm) the service was very welcoming and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the halibut, mussels and yellow tail.
We really enjoyed our Wednesday evening at Plonk. Relaxing atmosphere with the 'Stros on. Classy wine bar mixed with a little sports bar twist. We took their recommendation for cheese and it was fantastic as were the grilled peppers. The meat and cheese board was "bananas". Just say it for half
Food is great but it’s certainly a local mom and pop kind of place! If your in a rush, be aware that the service is a bit slow pace, think of it like being in European for dinner! Wine selection is great too!
Awesome bistro. Had the firecracker pizza and roloto pasta dish which were fantastic. Beer menu is good while wine menu is even better! Highly recommend!
