The Classic - Houston - Photo album

Was excited to try out the revamped digs. I love what they did with the all-new interiors...and the outdoor patio. The bar is far more prominent now and inviting for drinks or dining. The overall feeling here is far more bright, fresh and inviting. We shared the pate and it was yummy. Our salads wer
The Classic consistently delivers great service and excellent food and tasty cocktails. It’s certainly underrated and, as a result, rarely crowded. I’d love to keep this as a neighborhood secret so I don’t have to worry about long waits for a table, but this place deserves a crowd. We generally go
We came at a very strange time, and the experience was still amazing. The food was phenomenal, everything was very well cooked. The pelmeni were absolutely perfect - taste like an upscale version of my grandmothers recipe. Seriously, they actually made me homesick. The chicken sandwich and burger we
Love the new vibe here! It is kind of a blend between Benys and Local Foods. Great food with unique twists. Anyone that can make so many veggies this delicious is a winner in my book. We enjoyed the drinks and had excellent service. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be back. Love the s
Delicious food and drinks, but amazing customer service. We felt our waiter (Tim) was a mind reader knowing our every thought. We went for happy hour which ends at 7p and then stayed for dinner. 1- We ordered 2 happy hour appetizers and when they brought out the dishes our waiter added pelmeni dumpl
I've been following The Classic on Instagram since they opened but finally got there last night with the hopes of a good meal and a deal. Sidebar. The owners of The Classic also owns one of my favorite Local Foods which has a great open layout with a fun design. The Classic matches that same look. F
Great service and even better food. The aesthetics of the restaurant are really nice, I’d describe it as a modern diner of sorts. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Pictured is the onion dip, Brussels sprouts, the burger with fries. I recommend it all.
We came to the Classic for brunch on a Sunday and the food was delicious. When we first got there, it was an hour wait, so we sat at the booths which was perfectly fine. We actually got to see them making the food; everything is done fresh. Our food & service was great! There’s even free candy bags
Free champagne, free candy! What's not to like?! Everything was good but that burger was tdf! 24th wedding anniversary down, on to 25! Our server Adrian was a personable, knowledgeable guy - he told us all about the Josper oven from Italy made with Spanish steel, he brought us free champagne to cel
I thought I was going to miss my weekend breakfast at Benjy's but the Classic is a worthy replacement in the same location. While the menu is more compact than it's predecessor everything on it looks (and so fat tastes) great. House smoked salmon dish was not only a generous portion but the accrue
Exceptional service by Landen, good menu recommendations, and great tasting food. You must try the grain bowl or the food truck fries. The management has pulled together a great team with first class service. Everyone was very attentive, even the hostess came by and refilled our water and checked ho
Such a unique restaurant, with exotic tastes and flavors. Great atmosphere, calm and welcoming. Sophisticated designing, that gives attention to each and every detail.
Nice atmosphere. Contemporary but not over-the-top decor. Caters toward a nicely dressed crowd. Not really cheap, but well made food. An eclectic menu. Good coffee, great French Toast. BTW, they have alcohol too.
Every time come here we devour our food. It's delicately crafted and presented with thought. The staff is always kind and very attentive. Parking is usually available and not hard to get to which is a plus on Washington. We usually grab the little mushroom dumplings as an appetizer because they are
Sleek interior and delicious brunch. Crowd was the normal Washington corridor "selfie and mimosa boomerang picture" crowd. I don't normally think of adding fish and roe to my eggs but they all went nicely together in the soft scramble. Service was prompt and courteous. Looking forward to coming
Enjoyed lunch at The Classic. The cauliflower is a great appetizer. The dumplings are good but felt like cauliflower was better. Main course was the grilled cheese sandwich and it was delicious.
