We wanted real Texas BBQ and we found it the Houston Barbecue Company. We will definitely recommend this place. Friendly nice personnel and great BBQ authentic food. We will be going back.
My review/preview...best damn bbq...hands down...and the side...oh so delicious. on my plate was Sausage, Ribs, OMG Mac-n-Cheese-Please, and some corn that'll make you wanna slap your momma. I am used to a sweeter sweet tea that I chased it with. But nothing compliments bbq better than an ice cold Miller light according to my honeybun. So if you taste buds and buds say bbq, don't skip this spot...run don't walk on over...we loved it and we'll be back again and again. (side note; out of baked potatoes that night.) But I'll be back for mine. ;o))

I visited Houston Barbeque Company yesterday with my partner and we had an amazing experience. We were craving some chopped and sliced brisket sandwiches that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and we got exactly that. The brisket sandwiches were the perfect amount of tender and juicy, and barely had any fat on our slices (which we love). We also got fries and fried okra as our sides, and the fried okra was incredible. It was so crispy, flavorful, and fried to perfection.
We also tried their two different BBQ sauces, one regular and the other a creamy BBQ sauce with a little bit of heat, and both were so good. My partner got a root beer and I got a classic sweet tea. I was a bit nervous about ordering the sweet tea because not all sweet teas are made the same in the state of Texas, but my goodness, the sweet tea was sweetened to perfection.
We also snagged a fruity pebble rice krispy and a macadamia white chocolate cookie at the register, and they were both so delicious.
I would like to highlight the incredibly kind, patient, and nice staff members that checked us out. They made our experience even better.
Overall, Houston Barbeque Company satisfied our cravings and we are so thankful for that. We will definitely be going back and will recommend this to any and every friend in the area looking for a quick BBQ fix! I would rate this restaurant 10/10.
I did a pick up order for a brisket sandwhich, and a turkey sandwhich. Thr turkey sandwhich was for me and the flavor was not really bbqed or smoked in any way. The presentation was wonderful. The chopped brisket sandwhich was for my husband who loves bbq,and he mentioned it was better than the last time he tried this place, but did not give the bbq experience. Over all I will try again maybe dine in instead could be better vs to go. Cute shop and fast service.
I absolutely adore Houston Barbecue Company! It is hands down my favorite BBQ restaurant in Houston. The meats are incredibly flavorful, and the sweet BBQ sauce is simply divine. Their baked beans and mac n' cheese are always on point - a must-have combo for me. And I can never resist their IBC Root beer on tap. Plus, their catering service for holiday meals is superb. Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without it!
The food is absolutely delicious. About average priced for bbq. We paid about $15 per person. Both of us had the loaded baked potato with meat. The potatoes were huge. I would definitely recommend this spot.
The flavor was Texas BBQ through and through. I had the 2 meat combo. Sliced Brisket and Ribs. I will eat here again next time I am in the area. Typical dine in isnon a tray I did not specify dine in or carry out when I ordered.
Houston we have a BBQ restaurant that is awesome! I’m kind of a foodie. I luv great tasting foods, especially Texas BBQ. I saw great reviews about Houston Barbecue Company on Eldridge Parkway. I went today for lunch. I ordered the 2 meat combo, ribs and brisket. It was delicious! Ribs well seasoned and fell off the bone, brisket flavorful and great, side garden salad and potato salad. You’ll go check them out for yourself and you’ll luv it too 💯👍🏾😀
Wow, everything was awesome. Atmosphere, smoky smell, the fooooood. They have R/C cola! -- whatever they offer and suggest, just say yes!
This place was next to my hair salon so I thought I would give it a try. Overall, I enjoyed the flavor of the food. The brisket was a little drier than what I prefer, but the flavor was good. The ribs also had a good flavor. I really enjoyed the broccoli casserole.
Service was excellent and very attentive staff. Being this is the closest bbq spot to me, thought I would give it a try. Got the baked potato with chopped beef and sausage plate with two sides. Idk where they get such huge potatoes, but it was excellent. Chopped beef was tasty and not too sweet or tough. Out of a 10 the meat is a 7. I didn’t sit down and eat but it was festive inside. If you’re in the area, give it a try. For a take home dinner, it will have you covered.
I could eat their green beans EVERYDAY. UGH!! Love this place, lean brisket for my guy, this place is the bomb.

Juan freaking remembered my previous visits and how I've been asking for the chicken salad but disappointed it wasn't available, as soon as I walk in the door, he tells me THEY HAVE IT TODAY AND HE RECALLED ID BEEN INTERESTED!!! This place is so everything, wow kind and consistently 100% satisfying food. Thank you so much!!!
