Got off Amtrak with an hour. Went looking for a newspaper... 15 min walk before we came across this gem! Staff was amazingly friendly & helpful. Tacos were delicious! After 3 days of traveling this was the first truly, knowledgable gluten free restaurant I’ve seen.

I had the Cowboy Taco (beef). Best taco I've had in Houston.

Tacodeli is in a great location as it’s not very far from buffalo bayou park or the white oak bayou. I see the running and cycling community stop in here a lot due to the great food. There are many healthy choices and not pricy at all. Their patio is covered but is still open to the outside air. I love eating and hanging out with friends and family here. 😀

First time here and the place was very quiet and peaceful. We walked in and the person behind the register she was nice by the way told us our options and showed us the menus. My first time here and the tacos very delicious for breakfast. Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back to try their other tacos 🌮

I’ve only been to the TacoDeli in Austin’s Airport but this one has wayyyy more options & I loved it!! Really cool vibrant place. I like that they have outdoor and indoor seating. Vegan to regular options available to all the foodies out there. The staff even helped figure out what options can be made vegan. Really fresh food and unique flavors. I didn’t try their drinks but they looked really good so now I need to come back next week haha. They have a whole parking lot n in the back too so lots of space for you and all your friends to join the taco fun!

This place has become one of my top go-to breakfast taco spots! I always order the chorizo egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese tacos. Always so fresh and delicious

Shout out to this Tacodeli location - it deserves some appreciation. I've been getting breakfast tacos so often that the staff recognizes me now. The tortillas have that nice brown crust whenever I order them and I feel like the portion sizes are more generous compared to the other places I've been to. Manager + staff are always nice and welcoming. Would recommend!

Vibe- This spot is a vibe! Its sits off Washington Avenue. There’s plenty of seating inside and I counted 8 tables outside under their covered porch kind of area (I sat outside on a beautiful sunny day, it was as the best!!) they have an entire salsa bar where you can serve self mild to hot salsa. Customer service- Amazing, the gentleman that took my order was so kind. Food/drinks- I got their vegan taco options: Freakin Vegan and Papadulce; they were both delicious!! Parking- There’s a lot next to the building with plenty of spots to park.

A good spot for a quick bite or breakfast. I like the delibelly and potebello mushrooms. Their sauces are all good, especially dona. Easy to park and lots of seating with patio.

Great place for authentically flavored tacos! There was so much flavor in each bite I literally said yum every time I took one. The staff/customer service was great! Felt super comfortable. A PLUS is the outdoor patio on Washington Ave. with views of downtown, drool!

Best brekky tacos, hands down! I have not had a chance to eat at a Tacodeli for over five years. We used to live in Austin and moved to the Midwest and now East Coast. Very few brekky tacos available and none nearly on the same playing field as Tacodeli. During out trip to TX this July, we hit up Tacodeli three times is 9 days. Once in Houston, once in Austin (Domain area), and the final time in the Austin airport. My go to had always been The Otto but in the years I've been gone they added some other to the permanent menu that used to be revolving. I had the Otto, Akaushi Picadillo & Egg, and the Barbacoa Madruguera. All three were amazing as always and the Dona sauce just made everything an 11. My wife loves the Jess Special and the Vaquero; both are great but I love the trio I got. It's really hard to go wrong with Tacodeli so throw a dart and it's going to be good! I just wish they would expand to the East Coast. There is a massive void of good gourmet street tacos in this region from my perspective.

This place was great! My first time going. The employees were very helpful and nice. The tacos were pretty inventive and delicious. The guacamole was a little on the hot side, but it was very good. Very bright and refreshing with the lime. The atmosphere was also very fun. As someone in our group said, it felt very "Austin." I would be happy to go back and recommend it to others.

The Otto and El Picosito are the reason why I go to the place for breakfast at least once a week. One of the best places in Houston for breakfast tacos. The melted queso is also very good.

(Used to be) Probably the most expensive breakfast taco in town but probably also the highest quality. Excellent refried beans for sure. The staff is always super nice and willing to help as well. Can’t go wrong with the Otto or the Jess Special in the AM. You want a chorizo/egg/cheese taco? It’s the same price as the other big names around that only serve the breakfast classics. However, this one is made with higher quality ingredients!

Tacodeli lies about five minutes from where I work so I finally decided to visit it for lunch. I ordered a birria taco and, I think, a frontera fundida. They were both very good and enough for a not-too-hungry lunch. Price for the two tacos, with tips, came out to be just about $12. Would I come back for another lunch? Hmmm... Maybe. It was a bit expensive for two tacos.

STOP looking for a taco place!! This is the only one you need to visit! The flavors on this tacos are subreal, the people that work here deserves the best service Oscars or their restaurant equivalent. To my Guatemalan server you made my day!!

One of the better taco places in Houston if you're looking for a fancy taco, not an authentic Mexican taco. Their queso is great, as are their in-house made salsas. If you like spice ask for their Habanero Pico de Gallo, it's hot but really tasty. They have a huge menu that's also veggie friendly so there's something for everyone.

Tacodeli is a must when we come to Houston. Not only the tacos are amazing, the cheese sauce, Street corn...but the customer service makes your experience even better. Thanks Georgina and Ailyn for making our visit a special one, a great way to end our trip before heading to the airport.

Great place to grab breakfast and lunch. The menu is a nice mix of tex mex and other unique ingredients. Their egg and cheese tacos are really good and pair well with medium hot sauce. As for drinks, definitely try their horchata mixed with cold brew! It's a good combo which gives the coldbrew a not too sweet but flavorful touch. Service was quick and the staff there were courteous. It's a very clean location as well.

All around great flavors coming from the Tacodeli food. They have two different types of queso and the one that is, what I call, fully loaded is fantastic. The staff and customer service is refreshingly great. Everyone was genuinely helpful and made great recommendations.
