First time in Texas, they told me I had to visit Papas, the ribs were great , cucumber salad was to die for and portion were huge
They have the best BBQ I tried so many and this is the best....especially the huge beef ribs n baked potato
The food is still not bad but it has definitely gone done hill a bit, lower quality I think and the warm side are all very watery. There was only one person on the serving line so even the short line we were in took about 15 minutes to get to the serving area. They also didn’t have any cups available, and apparently they no longer use/have spoons for all the very watery sides. The eating area was very clean but the toppings/sauce bar needed a bit of attention. Employees were all very nice.
One of the best baked potatoes around. The pork plate is my favorite. The food is always good it's great and it's a good representation of Texas commercial BBQ. The supplies of certain items can vary and May run out. They also have different BBQ sauces and a fixings bar. Have a nice selections of drinks and beer and don't forget the dessert.

The BBQ is always very delicious. The burgers are a favorite of mine.. I got the chopped beef bake potatoe but they have gotten very small for a huge price.. The food is very pricey but the food is very good.
Hello, I went there on November 11, when I had some training in the area. I have a food allergy to tamarind, and I informed the manager. Mr. Randy took very good care of me, he informed me of my limits, and confirmed with the store that makes the sausage that it was ok for me to eat. He checked on me that everything was ok. I feel very well taken care of considering my allergy, and am grateful that I was able to enjoy my delicious food. Great experience.
When it comes to BBQ, there’s no place like Texas. In Houston, we now have some of the country’s best options. 😋 This said, I want to recognize Pappas BBQ for being around when there were not very many options. IMO what distinguishes them is the company’s dedication to quality and food consistency at all their locations. They serve up tasty beef, sausage, chicken, ribs and turkey BBQ with all the trimmings and sauces. My favorite has always been the giant baked potato with sliced beef, cheese and chives. I always request the sour cream and butter on the side. All this goodness is accompanied by the best Texas iced tea which goes down so good on a hot summer day! I also love the Chef Salad loaded with meat and the giant French fries. Pappas was my go-to catering and in-restaurant choice when hosting friends and family.

Really love this location, Had the 1/2 chicken and the baby back ribs, it was just amazing, chicken was so juicy, the sauces that they offer are amazing- i could not stop eating. Overall it was very tasty, the meat was soft and perfect, and the sides were tasty as well. The atmosphere also adds to the experience. I definitely recommend
Soooooo I Love Pappas BBQ, but their meat portions are smaller with a raise in prices. This was my baked potato with my chopped beef on the side. I definitely used to get a lot more then this. The poboy sandwich (not pictured) had maybe 4-5 slices of beef brisket. Other then that, everything was delicious as always.
I haven't been to Pappas in many many years. Got a gift card for Christmas so had to use it. First, I was surprised they didn't offer lunch specials. Most everyone offers something daily. With that in mind we decided to eat on a Saturday. Went around 1:30 and it was relatively nice. Got 3 of the 2 meat ½lb plates with macaroni and cheese and the beans ... My first hang up was the bbq sauce. Those pour bottles stink. By the time I got sauce for all 3 meals mine was cold. The best part was the brisket. Sausage skin was WAY too tough. Even the baked beans were crunchy. For what we spent it was not worth it. If you get anything get the baked potato. Saw others orders and they looked better than what we ordered. Overall the food was about average for bbq and way too expensive for the portions especially those sides man. Pretty bad when the sides guy pours stuff out of your bowl because it's "too much". Just saying.
They ran out of baked potatoes by 5pm. No baked potatoes for dinner. Suddenly limited in vegetarian options. Got a small salad, three sides of veggies. Ended up paying $25, more than my friend's big meaty dish, $17.
Why pay more for veggies than meats. Not planning on returning back.
This was a rebound visit from the Woodridge location and the undercooked chicken 🍗 fiasco I experienced there. This location was on point with the temperatures 🥶🥵 . I ordered the chicken potato with fixings and a banana 🍌 parfait in drive thru. When I made it home my potato was STILL hot 🥵. It was delicious. Had my fixings on the side and they gave me the perfect portion size. Let’s move to the 🍌 parfait. It was delicious and cold 🥶. The flavor was perfectly intense. Love that whipped topping. I must say I enjoyed my meal amd couldn’t eat the whole potato 🥔 or 🍌 parfait so I have my lunch for tomorrow. The drive thru was a tad busy but worth the wait when the food is delicious. Love this location. Check the drive thru out I enjoyed this meal from this location.
