I'm grateful for Google out herwise we wouldn't have known this place exists. It has a great feel for a Texas BBQ place. There's plenty of seating inside and out. The ribs were fall off the bone but not overcooked good and the brisket was super moist. My buddy has the smoked wings and was impressed.

Went to order take out. The prices are on the high side. I ordered a baked potato with brisket. A side of baked beans, mac and cheese, and banana pudding for dessert. The brisket was a little on the dry side. The baked potato was delcious otherwise. Everything was fresh. The barbecue sauce is tangy and good. Mac and cheese was thick but not necessarily cheesy. Didn't have great flavor. The baked beans were so good. They had a little smoky flavor as well. The banana pudding was very creamy. A little different than what I'm used to but good.

As you can imagine with staff this good the food is even better. Absolutely delicious.
The Mac & Cheese is the real deal! Not just noodles with a queso, like all the other places.
The ribs, brisket and cajun sausage were all delicious 😋.
Oh and the Green Beans are great too, nice and flavorful.
We came in with the lunch crowd and they still managed to clear that line in minutes!

Good food. This time, I ordered the big poppa, baked beans, and rib tips. Check your order before leaving. No extra bbq sauce as requested ( they skimpy on bbq sauce).

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were searching for a bbq place close to our hotel and stumbled upon this place! EVERYTHING was amazing! From the coleslaw to the beef ribs to the potato salad to the bread pudding. Everything was perfection! So sad we’re only here one night. The customer service was also great! Highly recommend!

Wow! I wish I had come here a long time ago! I'm always looking for great brisket and it's not always easy to find, especially on Sundays or later in the day. I ordered the 2 meat plate with sliced brisket and sausage, with greens and mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely fantastic!
The greens were easily the best I've had in years, and the mac was super cheesy in the best way, like real authentic cheese melted, not watery or powdered cheese.
The sausage was very flavorful and a really nice texture and smokiness. And the brisket had a real nice texture, perfectly rendered fat, and deep smoke flavor that is sometimes hard to find at many bbq places these days.
The pricing is quite reasonable compared to the average bbq restaurant these days, but the quality far exceeds most places I've been in the last few years. What you get for what you pay is worth every penny here!
Will definitely be returning soon and frequently to try out the other meats and side dishes and desserts!

Smoked Oxtail, Brisket, Smoked chicken are highlights so far, Mac and Cheese, baked yams, Cajun rice are amazing sides.
Looking forward to trying the Smoked Turkey Legs and Beef Ribs!

My husband and I dined-in today for the first time, for his birthday! Let me tell you, the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming from the time we entered the door! Ms. CeCe was so sweet in helping us choose what we wanted. Everyone kept checking to make sure that we were fine and if we needed anything! All of the staff are so nice and professional! They treated us like royalty! The food is delicious and the location of the place was close to our home! Incredible barbecue. The brisket was moist and the sausage was spiced just right. Everything tasted fresh like it had just come off of the pit or out of the oven. Cajun rice was spot on!

We had originally planned on going to a BBQ spot closer to downtown but had run out of time. I am so happy that we did and we found Southern Q close to the airport. It is a down-home spot and appears to be family run. The food was excellent.

This place is finger licking good! The brisket is so juicy and full of flavor. The stuffed baked potato is one of my favorites. The chicken and ribs literally fall off the bone, The boudin is also very delicious, and their Cajun rice is a must order! I absolutely love this place!!! Best BBQ in town. A must try!!!

I have found my new bbq spot! No longer will I have to settle for Pappas or drive way to Burn's bbq. The ribs melted in my mouth and the homemade sausage was delicious. I have passed this place many years traveling to my gym, but thought they only did smoked turkey legs lol! My sis and her husband tried and loved it as well.

The brisket was the best I have ever had. Service was quick and friendly. This is a small place and parking fills up quickly. I was lucky enough to go at noon on a Sunday and there weren't many people there. An hour later was a different story. Great quality food at a great price.

First place I visited when I got here omg excellent!!! That smoked turkey leg was the best I've ever tasted and the greensssssss EXPLOSIVE best I've ever eaten...sorry momma. Not to mention the homemade sausage was just off The meter delicious. The staffwere super friendly n service was quick!!! The raspberry iced tea was delicious n they kept your refills coming. Very cozy place n clean....this was very memorable wish they were close to me on the east coast they'd make a killing in sales!! Thank you guys awesome experience!!!!

I went the first time Thursday! Returned yesterday, Friday! I'm a picky and finicky gal! You need to go folks! Try those firecrackers! They come with those fresh and delicious salads on the menu! Employees just as great as the BBQ! I've never had so much meat on a salad! Tender too!

Great brisket, just had pinkerton's last weekend and sorry Dez, the q's was better lol. sauce was just the right amount of heat and perfect with the ribs. Cajun rice great, can't wait to try all the other stuff. The only thing was the potato salad, while delicious, i feel the potatoes were too mashed but that's a tiny thing to gripe about.
