It was great food! We ordered a tofu vermicelli bowl and a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were very good asian tastes. The tofu was slightly oily so I struck off a star, but it was tasty nevertheless.

This was a neat little place and wasn't quite sure what to expect as it's located in a run-down strip center on fm1960, but you're pleasantly surprised when you walk in! You order up at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. They offer a self serve iced tea or water and they also have a long list of other iced teas which I'll have to try next time. They have a great selection of Vietnamese dishes and looks like the Banh mi is a favorite here as several people ordered it. We started with a couple spring rolls with a yummy peanut sauce, they were a bit sticky but they tasted delicious! I got the combo vermicelli which came with your choice of 3 meats or egg roll, so I got the beef, chicken and egg roll. It was absolutely delicious!! The meat was tender and not dry, so flavorful and served with fish sauce and a good portion of noodles and veggies. You can add an egg to any dish for $1. My friend got the shaking beef and it looked delicious as well! The sauce and garlic on top of onions, noodles and veggies must've been good because my friend finished their plate! The seating area is casual but nicely decorated and the wall of pictures from Vietnam was fun to explore. During dinner there was a good flow of customers and I'm sure they're packed at lunch. Will be back!

First time. Passing by looking for Vietnamese food. The place is small y order and pay when you go in. The cashier was very nice and polite. It is a bit pricey. The food was good.

Such an amazing local restaurant. Everything I’ve tried from here has been amazing. Pho was perfect and Thai tea was perfectly sweetened! Also got the chicken curry and pork pad Thai which was also so tasty!!! Highly recommend and extremely reasonably priced!

Charming, little restaurant with great taste. This is a fresh and clean version of Vietnamese food. While there are several that are cheaper in the area, Ba Mien Bistro beats them all because of the quality. Plus, the have a little of everything, and it's all good.

First time here. Food was absolutely amazing, never had such tender and flavorful beef. Was such a roomy atmosphere and played soothing music. Well definitely recommended and come back!! UPDATE: When I first found this place with my boyfriend. We came here at least 6 days in a row! Its our absolute favorite restaurant. Grate prices, great music, and such friendly staff!

They've extended their menu over the years, and it's so good. :) highly recommend! I've been coming here for 4+ years.

Came by for lunch and really enjoyed the food an atmosphere. It's a very cute little hole in the wall and we enjoyed our ba meins. I will say that the food did take a while and it was a little weird that a large group of men who ordered after us got their food before we did. I'd definitely go back to try more food but I may order to-go to see if it's a little more timely.

Amazing food! Been twice and everything has been great. Ba Mien is amazing the Pho is great and I tried the chicken curry this time and it’s delicious as well. Staff is so nice and welcoming. Our favorite Vietnamese food so far!

One of the best banh mi I've ever eaten! They load it up with meat and shredded vegetables, and the bread is a little crispy outside very soft inside like it was just made. Their pork is so tender, juicy, and flavorful--it's even more tender than the chicken! I was also blown away by their soft, super stuffed macaroons, which have got to be some of the best in town! Service was also great and the food was served in less than 10min, so you can dine in even if you have a short lunch break.

WELL DONE! WELL DONE! (Clapping hands). Im glad I came across this little hidden gem,located in the Northside, where the food is phenomenal. The sandwiches are highly recommended where you experience some of the most delicious seasoned meat served in a fresh baked ba mien bread where the outside is crunchy and the bread is soft. I loved the pork egg rolls where you can tell the sweet and sour sauce is freshly made there. The atmosphere might as well be like Cheers where everybody knows your name. I noticed the returning customers where staff greeted them by their name. A very relaxed environment with relaxing music playing. A perfect place for a date or bring the family to enjoy the delicious food served at this place. Also the ice tea is so devine where its mixed with real fruit. Im definitely coming back a third time!

The only negative thing I have to say about this place is...I wish they had another restaurant closer to my home! I absolutely LOVE this place!!! Hands down the BEST chicken vermicelli, their wings are amazing and super crunchy! Like how do they make them that darn crunchy? The sauce has so much flavor, YUM!! Not only is the food amazing but the ambiance is wonderful too. Everything they make, is just sooooo wonderful. You must try everything on their menu at least once! Oh, I almost forgot, the water is to die for! I don’t know how they filter that water, but it’s so refreshing �

Overpriced food for sparse amount. Horrible to zero service. I don't know how this place received so many good reviews in the past. It must have changed management because I hate it and will not be back.
