Riva's Italian Restaurant - Houston - Photo album

I was recommended this place by friends and it was a worthwhile visit. We were able to order our meal pretty easily, the decision was difficult to make as there are so many appetizing entrees but we managed to narrow down our choices and ordered the Beef Ravioli and Veal San Pietro. All entrees co
My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday for brunch and as soon as we came we were greeted, seated and had our drinks in less than 5 minutes. We stay close by and always pass by this place and decided to walk on over and try it out.. and it sure did surprise us. The food was delicious, the drinks were
Went for brunch on a Sunday and had a great time. Loved all the light decorations and the food and service were great. We had the lasagna and crema rossa with chicken and shrimp and they were huge flavorful portions! The only thing that was underwhelming was the tiramisu, because it seemed like it w
Penne Rosa pasta was outstanding! Truly enjoyed the salad & lentil soup … Dinner plates are very large! Next time we will share a plate — Five stars and definitely returning
The staff here was incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. The food was brought out fresh and tasted very delicious. We were treated incredibly well and loved the experience.
We love Rivas. It’s a cute little homey restaurant that I believe is family owned. The main guy is always cool and sweet and always makes my Baha. We love because you get a lot of food for your money. I don’t believe anything is over $25 if that. You get Sam’s and soup and unlimited garlic bread wit
This place is a bit big for a hole in the wall. A neighborhood gem for sure. It could use a bit of a cleanup. The service is outstanding. The food is very good. We ordered the Shrimp Scampi (sautéed) 5/5, Chicken Picatta 5/5, Cannelloni 4.5/5, and crème brûlée cheese cake 5/5. The prices are grea
Our favorite neighborhood spot - feels like old Montrose! Very upbeat, gay friendly, home style cooking. No kids under 12 due to more mature nature of jokes/guests. Michael the owner loves the community and the majority of the staff has been here for over a decade. Large portions at reasonable pri
Delicious food with a cute atmosphere. Excellent service. All food our table had was excellent with large portions. Highly recommend their Italian margaritas!
Was very impressed with their food, lentil soup and salad were amazing. I got spaghetti and meatballs and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Very cute Christmas lights during the holidays. Will go back.
From the minute you drive up you'll know this is not going to be your ordinary restaurant. A sort of an old house reworked into an eclectic place to eat. I was there for a friend's birthday. If you want to be surprised, pleasantly surprised, slightly shocked, this is the place to take someone for th
i would definitely come back! we stopped by from out of town, we were craving italian and i’m glad we picked this restaurant. the christmas decor is super cute and welcoming. definitely worth the value. i wasn’t expecting soup and salad. i ordered the chicken francisco with fettuccine as the side 10
Came in from out of town, Austin. Walkable from where we stayed. Enjoyed the atmosphere where it was older and just had that Italian vibe. God was fantastic and lots of serving. Owner came to see us a few times and was very nice. Even complemented by date.
I love this place. Always a good time and lots of fun energy. The food is usually pretty good for the price point. On this particular visit they were having on off night. The Penne with cream Rosa and shrimp was very good. A favorite, and one of their best appetizers, the grilled portobello mushroo
