Review Happy Fatz - Houston

Three from my office went for the first time and we were pleased. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here. The dogs are so big I only ordered 1 and it came with a choice of sides. The potatoes salad was very good. Desserts looked amazing too. Go visit this Heights jewel in the rough!

Best hot dogs! They just came out with some new creations. I love how it's on a tiny area, it's small and nice. Quiet away from the city. Perfect for an afternoon date. Byob

Texas Chili Cheese dog- amazing. Glad we found this cute little place. The employees are friendly and very helpful. We just had waters with our dinner, but they even had a fun "water of the day" flavors. Cucumber Jalapeno Lime water tasted great! Adorable place, great menu, and sweet staff. We will be back :)

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for hot dogs. Happy Fatz, with its variety and quality, makes me want to eat here every day. These hot dogs aren't your average hot dogs, but large, overstuffed hot dogs that you will probably have to eat with a fork and knife. It feels like each hot dog was made with love, and it probably was, given how it took around 15 minutes for us to get our hot dogs. The wait was worth it, because our hot dogs (the Al Capone and the Chili dog) were the best hot dogs that I've ever had. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place.

I loped this place up on Yelp (my best friend) and I'm so glad it brought me to this place! its amazing! Its only hot dogs but they are incredible. I never knew there was so many different ways to eat a hot dog. Also the desserts are to die for, they make their own cakes, cheesecakes and desserts. My favorite is Mocha Chocolate Cheesecake, go and make sure you ask them to drizzle some chocolate over it. AND not only is there food goo BUT the customer service is amazing, everyone is so nice and welcoming.

Top notch all around! Unique and delicious dogs. Awesome desserts and something I need to experiment more with. BYO with no corking fee. They'll even bring you a bucket of ice to keep your beverages cold. The staff is very friendly, and the service is spot on. Not that a place this simple requires great service, but they make sure to go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The outdoor patio is also dog-friendly which gives Happy Fatz an extra +1 in my book. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good hot dogs, desserts, service, and bringing along your beverage and/or pooch of choice.

Best hot dogs in Houston! I usually hate hot dogs but these guys use the best stuff around. Also have healthy choices. Really great environment too, definitely worth the trip. Great customer service.

The hot dogs are amazing. Great quality franks and bread. Their topping combinations are awesome. I tried their Philly cheese steak one and the lotus blossom. They were both excellent but the lotus blossom was my favorite.

Happy Fatz is one of the best hot dog places in Houston! If not, then it's THE best! They have such a wide variety of toppings, from hash browns to eggs, and I love every bit of it. Their bread is well toasted and buttery, and the hot dog itself is Heaven. This is one of my favorite places in Houston to eat. They also have coffee and desserts! I haven't had their coffee yet, but I've heard it's really good.

Decided to try this place on a whim, and oh what a great decision it was. Hebrew national hotdogs and fresh made cheese cake?!?! Possibly the best hot dog place I have been to in Houston. The Texas chilli dog they make is fantastic, as is the Philly dog, and their breakfast sandwich. However, the best part of this place has to be the cheese cake! They have flavors ranging from apple pie, to molasses rum, and sweet potatoes. Their new York style is also pretty excellent. If you love a good hot dog, and are a fan cheesecake, you gotta give this place a try!

The food was amazing! Had the Texas chili cheese hotdog and the cake ball + a lemon bar. Everything was tasty and the owner came out to make sure the food was good which was a nice touch. The only problem we had was the parking - it's pretty terrible. But what's new in the heights

The best hot dog place in Houston. 100% Beef hot dogs with various topping combinations. My personal favorite is the Clucker, which a beef hot dog with hash browns and a fried egg on top. When looking for this place please note it is an old house in the Heights with and outdoor patio/porch and doesn't appear to be a restaurant. Keep your eyes open or you will miss a great Houston treat.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Very reasonably priced and fulfilling breakfast, coffee drinks, salads, specialty hot dogs, and desserts (killer cheesecake). And they have tofu dogs if meat isn't your thing! Service has been stellar every time I've gone. PLUS it's BYOB, so you can stop at a supermarket and bring your own 6-pack or bottle of wine if you want. They regularly have live music and interesting daily specials, like wild game hot dogs (elk, veal, etc.) every Wednesday. Just go. For breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee, dinner, or dessert. You won't regret it.

Can't believe I haven't written a review before. My partner and I gave been coming here since it first opened. His go to is the Al Capone, mine is the Philly. We've tried others like the Slawdog and Lotus but always return to our favorites. Service Dan be slow because of the teeny kitchen, but it's worth it. They also have some of the best cheesecake in Houston. Not sure what they do but its light and airy, not dense and heavy like most. They get a little too creative with their flavors a sometime but I've never been disappointed. Recommend

I had the Texas chili cheese hotdog and it was really good. At first I thought one hotdog wouldn't fill me up but goodness, I was stuffed! Awesome quality of the franks and the ingredients used. This place almost looks like a house (especially with the plates they use lol) but it's very chill with a great atmosphere. I didn't get a chance to try a dessert so I'll definitely be coming back for that. If you're into hotdogs I would recommend!

Laid-back hot dog shop with friendly owners. All of their hot dogs are great but my favorite is The Clucker. It comes with hash browns and a fried egg on top. They also serve breakfast and have amazing breakfast tacos.
