We enjoyed brunch here very much! The food was fresh and delicious, the people who work here were prompt and polite, and the ambiance was wonderful. There are so many plants, it felt like we were in a garden.

Delighted with this place. It is always a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is super nice and cozy. The staff is quite friendly, attentive and always ready to help with whatever you need. The food is delicious, I have tried several things on the menu and everything has been good. My favorite was the tuna sandwich and the florentine omelette. The Croissant are always the best ever. Sweets and coffee delicious. It is excellent for a breakfast alone, as a couple or with a group of friends. Good parking.

The food is good. I've been here a handful of times, and it's always packed. And I think this is one of the major issues I have with the place. You can't sit and talk comfortably without feeling like you need to yell or that people are all in on your conversation. Also, it might be hard to find a place to sit if you are more than 2 people. All tables are small. This is not the place to have a party of more than 2 3 people, or you'll be pulling in tables together and sitting awkwardly. Parking is also limited if you go at peak times. Outside of that, the food and coffee are good as well as the pastries. Fortunately, this restaurant has outgrown its location, and that should speak to their quality.

August 2023 Had a toasted grilled chicken baguette and it was tasty. Here's my honest review. I Googled 'the best croissants " in Houston, and French Riviera came up. I will have to say that every year I go to France, so I know a thing or two about a good croissant and baguettes. I ordered to eat in, two croissants and two cappuccino. Jam and butter were not offered with the croissants and had to ask for it. My thoughts: 5* for the staff's attentiveness and friendliness. 5* for such a cute storefront. 3,5* Sadly, I was a bit disappointed with the croissants as I found them heavy and not crispy enough. The inside is too dense and chewy. A great croissant should be light, feather-like and with a crisp, flaky crust 4* for the baguette. It's almost perfect but found the inside a little too dense (not enough holes when cut open). 4* I also ordered a Salad niçoise. It was fine, but not satisfying as one in France.

When I asked if we could be seated to take our orders. We were told yes and waited almost half an hour only to realize that we had to stand in line to pay. Waste of time. And the grilled chicken sandwich was terrible that after two bites, we left it. As for everything else, such as the Riviera Omelette, Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Pain au raisin with fresh pressed orange juice was wonderful. Spent a good 80 dollars for 2 adult and a child for this breakfast so make sure you have a fat wallet before coming. The people who worked there were very nice and kind.

This is a small cafe, and neatly decorated. You have to order your food before taking a seat. They have an array of sweet and savory food on display. All look so yummy. I had the pear almondine tart, lemon macaron, pistachio macaron, large chocolate eclair, fruit tart, and a large cup of mint lemonade. The mint lemonade is one of their May specials. The scary green color threw me off at first. But the lemonade was lemony enough. It was just missing the mint taste. I know what fresh mint taste and smell like. So it was disappointing especially when they advertised as their OG lemonade. The macarons were good. Appreciate their effort in labeling the flavor on the macarons. The pear almondine was ok. Nothing special to scream about. The fruit tart was fresh. The crust was perfect, and the custard was not overly sweet. I love it. To me, the eclair was one of the best I had. From the pate a choux to the chocolate glaze to the vanilla cream was all perfect. The eclair was filled all the way through. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would try their croissants on my next visit.

We ordered a heart and healthy scramble 🍳, a spicy chicken avocado burger 🍔 and a cappuccino ☕️ The overall experience is amazing thanks to the waitress who patiently explained to us the menu options, the nice ambience, the good coffee and the tasty breakfast plates! I was disappointed with the croissant though as I was expecting an authentic French croissant 🥐 but it is at least crunchy and edible so I maintain the overall 5 star ratings for this café. We will be back to try the quiche and lavender latte 🤩

They're butter croissants are THE BEST I have tried in Houston. The lattes are also good. I really appreciate that I asked for no foam and they actually served me one with no foam. As easy as you would think it is, doesn't happen often. The macaroons are worth trying. They are well made, texture is good. The cappuccino tastes a lot like coffee, the pistachio is a bit off. It is harder to appreciate the pistachio flavor in it.

Relaxing spot decorated with an abundance of plants and french themed decor paired with a flaky & buttery pain au chocolat croissant alongside a flat white espresso is a welcome escape from the morning commute traffic.
