Harold's Restaurant, Bar, & Terrace - Houston - Photo album

Another HRW23 venture. We ate downstairs in the bar/lounge area because upstairs was super busy. The bar top was dirty and the bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed when we arrived. She cleaned it up right away and took good care of us. The food was tasty and the drink menu was very interesting. They h
We sat on the covered terrace, yes in Texas Heat, it was overcast so not too hot, and although they were short staffed, they gave us service with a smile. Our happy hour drinks were great and the food was delicious, they even turned on the outdoor cooling fan for us. Everyone that was there made o
Came in during Houston Restaurant Weeks, ordered from that menu. The deviled eggs were good. The little chicken bite on them is a fun addition for some texture, and the pepper definitely gave it a nice zing. I wanted something fried, and drowned in gravy, and they definitely delivered there. I'd hav
Found this gem while out and about and enjoyed a nice dinner with a pretty view. The bar had plenty of seats but we opted to sit on the terrace, which was nicely decorated with patio lights. Food was good, but wish they had more wine variety. Good ambience overall.
The patio upstairs is amazing, I can imagine if it's busier it's even better. The food was alright.. wasn't my most favorite Caesar salad and the deviled eggs lacked a bit of seasoning. But my friend said her pizza was good! The sangria was amazing though! I think I'd go back after visiting a few ot
This was our first time here, the food was very delicious. We ordered a mimosa flight with multiple flavor options and honestly they were all very yummy. Our waiter was very nice and definitely gave us a great first time experience, I definitely recommend
This is a good restaurant for everyone. The food is good... But it's definitely not soul food or Southern food. It lacks the seasoning and flavor profile of soul food or Southern food. The fried chicken is good and you can tell that it was brined, yet there is a serious need for white pepper, paprik
The food was so good! I had the chicken and waffles, which was big enough to share with my child. It came with 4 waffles and half a chicken! Our server was super nice and the atmosphere was perfect. The music was loud enough to enjoy but not annoying. The patio was perfect. We had Bloody Mary drinks
Found this gem and enjoyed an evening out for our dinner while in Houston. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the fried chicken. Food was good, only complaint is the flies that got in as the outside terrace door opened. The drinks were good and the food was good.
Great place for brunch. Food is tasty and their mimosa flight is worth try! It was pretty empty for a Saturday brunch though, but we didn't complain as service was dedicated to us!
Really enjoyed eating upstairs with a view of the classic heights area. Very clean and nicely decorated. Food was delicious. We came at lunch so it was too hot to sit on the patio but will come back for happy hour next time once it gets cooler out. I took a star off because the service was sooo slow
Nice balcony and great menu. There are a wide variety of choices for both food and drink. There are options that take into account and special food needs. Happy hour prices were a nice surprise for lunch. We went on a weekday for lunch and they were not busy which was enjoyable. We plan to go b
I had such a lovely brunch. Ordered the beer battered cod with a side of maple brussel sprouts. The flavors and textures were delightful. The waitress, Alexis, was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive, kind and helpful. Definitely made our experience special. Thanks Alexis, I will definitely
I attended a work happy hour on the rooftop. It was a nice atmosphere for sure. The food setup wasn’t the best. Some of it seemed to have been premade very early in the day and was a bit stale. The drinks are good but seemed very strong! Someone might love that! If it burns my esophagus off th
Houston Heights neighborhood is one of the happening places in Houston and you don't want to miss Harold's when you are here. We went here for a friend's birthday lunch and we had a great experience. We wanted a a table by the window and the staff was very accomodating in getting us the table that w
I will say the food is not bad, after a little pepper and salt, but the service was A-1. Our server was Nicholas, and he stayed smiling, and brought great energy. Also, I have to shout out Fabian, Netta, Devin, and the bartender girl with the hat for adding to our experience by giving my sister a wo
Great service, food and ambiance. Set in a historic men’s department store in the Heights, Harold’s host a fantastic brunch menu including a Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and a Big Nasty Biscuit that is delicious. After washing them down with a nice size mimosa, you will be ready to take that Sunday nap
