This is my second time coming to Rincon Criollo! If you want to try Cuban food then this place should be your first stop! Their food is very flavorful and filling. The menu isn't overwhelming and there are great choices to choose from! My first time dish were the Oxtails
BEST OXTAILS I've ever tasted there was so much flavor with every bite I definitely recommend that dish! My second time dish were the Masas Fritas that's a good dish choice as well!
Don't think twice about it go try them out!
Everything is delicious. Will return frequently. Staff attentive, owner on site and welcomes his customers. Atmosphere cozy , friendly, and joyful. Love this place. My whole family does!
My family is Cuban and I was born and raised in Miami Fl and when I say the best Cuban food it is authentic. It reminds me of my family’s cooking. The food is flavorful and the variety is Amazing. The service is great and portions are filling. You must try the Moro rice with any meat of choice will be great. The flan has the perfect consistency and taste. Highly recommend to anyone wanting that Caribbean/ Cuban food in the area. I am there at least once a week.
Food is delicious! Lunch buffet is a great option during the week. Haven't tried anything that I haven't liked. Prices are reasonable!
First time here. Have been craving a cubano sandwich. Picked up food for my family. Four different cubanos. Got two with plantains and two with fries. I also got beef empanadas and four desserts.
Staff was friendly. The place was very busy but still got my order in about fifteen minutes. The sandwiches were good. My favorite was a beef and traditional pork.
The prices were very reasonable. I am sure we will be back in the future.

Food is bery good, and good portions for the price. The place is noisyz so if youre going somewhere for a quiet dinner, this might not ve the place for you. The shredded pork is our favorite dishA
I used to live in Miami for almost 15 years and when I moved to Houston, I looked for a Cuban restaurant, so I found El Rincón Criollo and asked for a Pan Cubano and my wife ordered a Palomilla and both plates were really good. On my next visit I ordered Rabo Encendido and it’s delicious. Parking is ample and free. If you want to test the real Cuban flavor this is a good place to start.
It all started with my cuban friend taking us there for like a week straight, we were working around the area and it turned into our favorite place to go eat for lunch, they used to have buffet I don't know if they still do that, that was almost 2 years ago, but I came back recently to introduce my wife to authentic cuban cuisine and she absolutely loved, her dish was ginormous, and delicious, my favorite dish is with out a doubt is the rabo encendido, I highly recommended is just incredible, you are not allowed to leave the place without having some delicious flan, and of course delicious cuban coffee!
The food was good. Is the closest thing to legit Miami cuban food. The only thing that was not as close a cuban miami food was the congri (rice w/ black beans) it was missing lots of bay leaf that is the key ingredient. Overall the food was great and will definitely recommend and return!!!
Found this place and loved it. Food was delicious and service was outstanding. Had a great conversation with the waitress (Eileen), as we had just returned from Cuba. Will definitely be back

Continuing the search for great food, I found myself in this resturant, located of of Highway 6. Service is prompt and cortous, food is delivered in very nice timeframe and the flavors are just incredible, I had liver with onions, with the classic sides of rice, black beans and plantains, an absolute marve, just as good as in Havana. Very recommendable
Little Cuban storefront with a lot of charm and flavor. Service was exceptional. The ropa vieja was delicious! I will return soon.
Wonderful food, this was our first time trying Cuban food, and everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. The two men serving us were very kind and accommodating, we would definitely return to this location given the chance. We loved it.
