We visited from San Antonio this weekend and, overwhelmed after reading all the Sunday brunch recommendations, opted for Cyclone Anaya's. Have to admit, the prospect of 1 cent mimosa refills was a deal sealer as San Antonio eliminated bottomless mimosas across the board. The food is fantastic; first time having crabmeat in queso, and it was awesome. The chorizo con huevo plate was delicious too...but the best thing ever was the ceviche. It was the best-tasting ceviche I've ever had, Cyclone complete nails the flavors! We met the new GM, Ghalib, who enthusiastically welcomed us and made recommendations which were spot on. The poinsettias and mimosas were great, but the habanero Margarita was on fire. Literally. The heat & taste were on point. Thanks Ghalib for making us feel at home! When we visit Houston again next month, we will definitely be back

Came in for dinner & everything was great! We started with the jumbo margaritas & they were perfect. Not too strong, but strong enough to make for a great Marg. Next I had the Anaya's soft tacos-enchilada style...wow. That is the dish I'll likely get more than once. They were awesome. To top it all off, I got a slice of tres leeches since it was my birthday, & that dessert was the bomb. Overall everything was great. Service was awesome & the food was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped in and grabbed a couple of drinks and dinner at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered the spicy salmon with brussel sprouts and rice with charro beans. The salmon wasn't spicy, but had a great flavor with the mango sauce. The beans were actually the star of the show, I don't usually eat beans, but these were so flavorful. Great place to stop in and the prices are reasonable and portions large.

Food is hood and prepared fresh. I enjoyed the empanadas, cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. The crab nachos lacked crab meat this time but I still like them. Delicious chips, guacamole and salsa. Service is excellent! Adult drinks fantastic! Brussels sprouts and fajitas were delicious too!

My wife and I came for our 26th Anniversary. Austin was an awesome waiter. Very attentive and friendly. If you come here ask for him. You won't regret it.

The food and service were excellent. Rubi was our server and she was fast and attentive. We made it in for happy hour and tried the house margaritas and they were excellent! The ceviche was so good and fresh. The queso with taco meat had amazing flavor. We couldn't decide on what to get so we tried the botany and the brisket empanadas were so yummy and full of flavor. Can't wait to eat here again!

Total satisfaction... the ceviche here is the BEST I've ever had. I wanted to try everything. Not pictured nachos with cheese, fish tacos, and the chicken quesadilla. It was good also. The drinks were amazing. I tried margaritas and the old fashioned. Both were good, but I settled for a few old fashioned.

Really good tex-mex food tucked in the spot in Midtown, we had fajitas and margaritas but I wish I had more space to try everything. Good sit-down restaurant, highly recommends

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Menu clearly labeled gluten-free options. When I told the waitress Laura I was gluten free she let the manager Haas know and he came over to the table. When I asked questions the Chef Steve came out and inquired what I was looking at and he made suggestions. I ended up ordering the blue crab nachos with a brisket taco on the side. Steve personally prepared my meal, which was delicious. My husband who is not gluten free ordered a combo with a cheese enchilada and chalupa, he said his food was also delicious. Both Steve and Haas came to check on us. They even brought us flan on the house for dessert. Everything was so fabulous! We will definitely be back!

Dining at the outdoor area was quite a delight. I must commend the courteous and attentive service that we received also. I enjoyed the combination fajitas which were served sizzling. And it was great to get two of each side which made sharing much easier.

Came here for lunch. We were seated quickly and server was attentive. Started off with the La Esperanza cocktail which was delicious! Highly recommend. Ordered the botana appetizer sampler and chicken tortilla soup. The soup was good; would recommend. The sampler was ok. Few items were good; others were overcooked and dry. Not sure I’d recommend. Overall good experience and service was fast.
