Fountain View Fish Market - Houston - Photo album

I am going through hard times when I go to other businesses I am treated like a homeless person and like they don’t want me in the establishment. I went here today for lunch and they were all kind, friendly, fresh and fast. The fish is always fried perfect but a little bland. However, yhey have all
Overall pretty good , could use a bit more seasoning but still good .. the complementary ice tea is magical, definitely try .
This place is amazing. Perfect example of what a hole in the wall restaurant means. The shrimp is plump and perfectly crunchy. The fish is flaky and juice and fried to perfection. I wish the restaurant would house make all of it sauces but I understand.
Great customer service!!.. The owner is very pleasant. Food is cooked to order, which means always fresh. I love the Fried Shrimp platter.. How can you not love the service these ppl offer...Homemade sweet tea on the House
The definition of a perfect hole in wall hidden gem. Simple well executed seafood. Can’t beat the free housemade lemonade tea.
Fountain View Seafood Market has got "seafood going on"! I've been many times. I normally get the #16 (3 fish, 12 shrimp) with 2 choices of French fries, slaw, or egg rolls. I like all the sides and normally have a hard time choosing. It's mostly pick up or delivery and some eat there while all in
So todays lunch was seafood. I wanted to try this spot that my brother told me about. It's a small shop that sells fried seafood and they also sell fish and shrimp to take home to fry or cook on your own. I was greeted as I walked in the door. I ordered 1 catfish and 12 shrimp. There was no combo f
Food was pretty good! Everything was fried to perfection. The seasonings were light to medium, versus some Cajun eateries. The service was great and the ambiance casual.
The food is made to order, freshly served every time. They also offer complimentary lemon ice tea that’s amazing and very refreshing! The staff was nice and helpful! Thank you for an amazing lunch experience!!!
Ordered the 2 fish 2 shrimp combo. Coleslaw-bland and tastes like its just the slaw vegies with watery slaw sauce. Onion rings- were slightly over fried but good and, not overly sweet batter. Fish- is nicely fried. Batter is bland. Could use more seasoning. Shrimp- Fried nicely, batter could use mor
We ordered fried catfish with fries and cole slaw and enjoyed every bit of it ( cole slaw was tasteless to be honest, but the rest of the stuff was PERFECT). The fish was perfectly seasoned and nothing was greasy at all. You can also get unlimited tartar sauce which makes the food even more deliciou
everything was great and would recommend try shrimp and fish
Simply Delicious!! The food is delicious, the owner and staff are so nice, and the restaurant is so clean! Definitely a hole-in-the-wall must try! P.S. Their homemade sweet tea w/lemon is a must have.
Location is small and parking is limited. The fish is good and shrimp size is nice for the price. The bredding used on the fish and shrimp is very good, not greasy or heavy. When you order your combo make sure you let them know what sides you want otherwise you will automatically get French fries an
I will forever believe in the “hole in the wall”! This place is at the top of those places! U almost wish they was multiple locations! But why fix it if it ain’t broke! GREATTTTT food.. simple and done right!! Must have!
Gem in the hole. Very very fresh seafood! Excellent shrimp. They do not have that much seating inside but if you are lucky you can find a spot. Pricing is very reasonable. They also do sell fish, shrimp, crab and etc for you to purchase to cook at home.
Easily the best fried fish in town, one of the best places I've eaten in town overall. I picked the 3-fish-6-shrimp meal with french fries and onion rings, and I have to say, it was probably the best meal I've ever eaten. Especially those french fries. Wonderfully seasoned. Service was great, and t
Fresh seafood, quick service and low prices. You can order ahead and that would be recommended because there's not much room inside. They generally take about 10 to 15 minutes to make an order during their busier times. You can't go wrong by ordering a dozen shrimp with three Catfish fillets and tw
Best fried shrimp I have had in Houston, light and not greasy with the shrimp flavor on full display. The egg roll was great as well. Will be back for more.
