This is a little gem in the Memorial district bordering on the Energy Corridor. They have plenty of parking convenient to the entrance. I love their interior atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious, but also cozy. They have booth and regular table seating. They serve red and green sauce with their chips. The chips are thin, but not too thin. I am not a fan of some restaurant that have thick chips. These are just right. The margaritas are good. They are deceiving at first. They don’t taste strong, but they pack a punch. I recommend the top shelf (better quality of liquor). La Hacienda’s food is fresh, arrives to the table at the perfect temperature and the servings are large. I had the combination plate (#3) which comes with a cheese enchilada, a crispy beef taco and a puffy taco. My friend had the bacon wrapped shrimp. I tasted one and it was delicious! All the food was very good. I expected a regular taco shell for the beef crispy, but it came in a curled tostada type shell. It was very good. Usually, the cheese enchilada is my favorite item at Mexican restaurants, but I like their crispy taco so much. I have a new favorite, at least at La Ha. Both times I have been, I have gotten exceptional service. The waitstaff are all very nice and fast. This is an older Mexican restaurant, but it’s one of my favorites now. You can’t go wrong here. Great food, service and comfort. Everything I look for when selecting a place to dine. I will be back to try their tacos al carbon. That’s a favorite dish of mine. A neighboring table ordered it. It looked and smelled delicious. I had a little food envy at first.
This is the best Mexican place in my area. The Felipe chicken is my favorite dish. I like the chimichanga too. Place is big and atmosphere is good. The red sauce is spicier than the green sauce. Has good queso. Pretty much all the food here is good. Recommended!
These are the best parrilladas I have had in Houston! I will continue to recommend and return to this place. Staff and service are excellent and all items on the menu are reasonably priced. Their food and drink selection is pretty extensive, but I always order my favorites.
This place took me back to my grandmas food. It smelled amazing the tasted is terrific. I give 100%/ 100% atmosphere is great you can even work or even have a great time with the family and friends or even if you need to book for your business ( Christmas celebration) the staff are very friendly and they are always on the look out if you need anything else. loved it

They’re always so sweet and welcoming. The lady that takes my order and brings it out & the man that fixes it. Best enchiladas I’ve ever had !!! Always get the same thing and they always make my food good and fresh. Great customer service & great food
Some time had passed since I been here last. In fact my birthday girl, turning 14, wasnt even a thought in my mind. I recently moved back to the area and couldn't wait to take her. It was better than I remembered!!! Service was excellent- kind of rare these days, and the food was even better than the service. The overall experience was delightfully yummy. We were both 100% happy happy happy! We will definitely be back!
Great food and casual atmosphere make this restaurant a comfortable place to have a wonderful meal with a friend or your entire family. If you choose take out, your order will be hot and ready at the time they quote you. They always provide complimentary chips and salsa, whether you dine in or take out. Just a great place for Mexican food at a great price.
5 stars for what it is. Very reasonably priced (especially for 2023), great ambience and live music. Lots of families come here. I’ve been frequenting La Hacienda since I was a child, and will continue to for the foreseeable future.
Sad to say but they changed the cooks in the past month the food is horrable now and won't be returning sad because they use to have the best food The best for cheese enchiladas
I ate every bite of my food 10/10 I got a combination #3 and my son got pork in a sauce specialty plate that was a 10/10 as well. He drinks a lot of tea and they always kept his drink full. Everything was so delicious!
