Great place. Let me say that I'm only giving 4 stars because the turkey legs didn't have a robust smoke flavor that I prefer and the parking is terrible. I realize this is preference, but I can't give 4.5 stars 🤷🏽♂️. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is great and the service was phenomenal. The meat certainly peeled off the bone as advertised, which was great.

Beautiful, beautiful bartenders, waitresses and clientele. The service is always wonderful. I have had three different types of legs and all of them were top notch! I mean, there is simply no better food on the planet. The atmosphere is nice, they got a little of everything. This is something iconic of Houston. Everyone that visits this town should stop here. THE WAIT IN LINE IS WORTH EVERY DROP!!!!

Wow! I had long heard how this place was a standout, and that’s verifiably true. The service is warm and welcoming, always nearby. The food is crazy good - every stuffed or combo dish we had is equivalent to two or three elsewhere and the flavors just meld together perfectly. The Henessey glazed leg is a perfect mix of sweetness, pinch of kick, and tang of BBQ that is just right. Swamp fries are a nice starter covered in cheese and grilled chicken with spices. Drinks are very good as well with a wide selection to meet your preferred tastes. Just go, we shouldn’t have waited so long.

Waitress was nice. We had reservations & no wait. The frozen drink was good & strong. The Turkey Leg was seasoned well & tender. The Dirty Rice had a nice spice to it but I didn't care for the consistency of the rice (it was mushy). The fried fish was the best! We also got the Ceasar Salad with grill chicken & shrimp, they was not cheap with the meats either. I will definitely return.

Great food and service. Small on the inside but our server was awesome. Food was really rich in flavor, maybe a bit too rich for my blood pressure. Food didn't take too long to prepare and was pretty accurate with my substitutions. Overall, being from out of town this was a must have and I am glad I did it. Would recommend.

My go-to in the city!! It’s a vibe-every time. The buffalo lemon pepper and jerk wings kick like Jackie Chan. The swamp fries are good now and later. The catfish is always good. The frozen beverages are like soft serve ice cream, so don’t order one unless you have time for them to loosen up a bit. Or, you can do what I do- double up on the straws and go to work. I have always dined outside, but have gone in for the restroom-which is always clean and fully stocked. I love the waitstaff!!! Everyone has positive energy, and they work well together. I only know about paid parking, which I noticed varies in cost depending on day/time. Enjoy!!!

One of the best parts of my visit to Houston!!!!!! The owner and her brother showed us so much love!!! (Definitely coming back). Our waitress knew exactly what she was doing and brought our food in a timely manner. Can't wait until they open up in Atlanta!!! My whole family already said we going to the Grand opening!!!!! SO WE NEED OUR INVITE!!!!!!

I rarely do this, but I gotta be honest: It’s a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️//⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5:5).
I went for brunch and ordered the stuffed shrimp alfredo turkey leg with their signature dirty rice.
The food was AMAZING, it was by far the best turkey leg I’ve ever had. It was moist, tender (literally fell off the bone), and seasoned to perfection. It’s as if the turkey was melting in my mouth. They shrimp and rice was plentiful, both tasted equally good. The serving size is more than enough - I ate mine over 2 days.
I did order from the food truck, so I’m not sure about the atmosphere inside of the restaurant, but the service and atmosphere was fine at the truck.
I spent about $42. It is hefty for a stuffed turkey leg but I do not regret my purchase. I’m sure I’ll be back.

The stuffed leg with dirty rice was good... The jerk left me disappointed ... It was very tender but dry and cold...I asked was it authentic jerk seasoning The waiter compared it to the reggae hut... Not... I thought it was bbq sauce when they brought it out... It also tasted like bbq sauce oregano and jalapeño ... Another customer also had the same complaint. The waiter was nice but over worked...everything over priced...but it's a cool if you want to just hang out

The food is great but the service was nonexistent. We sat on the patio because there was no seating inside which turned out to be a blessing because their air conditioning was broken. There was a waitress who never came to us. The hooka girl told us just go inside and order because the service is wishy washy (her words, not mine). We served ourselves all night. Anytime we wanted a drink we went inside to the bar and even picked up our own food when it was ready. This was my third and last time here. When I want to serve myself I eat at home when I want to relax I go out to eat. I had high hopes for this place but it’s sad when they aren’t even apologetic or aware of the fact that this is not how you treat customers.

I went for the first time. The service was SLOW and horrible. The turkey leg was ‘ok’. I had the crawfish Mac n cheese one but it should have been called just Mac n cheese because I had no crawfish. However....my drink....the side piece.....was GREAT! The owner should invest in professional training for the staff. Poor service can kill a business.

We went around 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The food was awesome, our server was very pleasant and attentive. Our food came out quickly. The drinks were very good. We enjoyed the music and environment, although the music was a little loud, it was difficult having a conversation with my family at our table. Our only complaint was that it was hot in the restaurant. I know its Houston but the temperature inside could of been much more comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves & will be back.

Although there were many negative reviews on the “service” I gave it a try and can’t wait to visit again. Great food, location and Customer Service was great! It’s a popular spot apparently and does get crowded so that may slow your service down but not worth all the gripes of the reviews!

I had The Signature Shrimp Alfredo Turkey Leg $28 a bit pricey considering I only had 3 shrimps. It wasn’t very crowded the owner was there but instead of walking thru greeting people she walked thru with a Stank attitude. I probably will not go back again.

My daughter had a birthday gathering there yesterday. It was my first time there and I was pleased with the service, drinks and food. Our waiter was very nice and gave me samples to taste since I couldn't make up my mind on what to order. We enjoyed it so much, we're going back this Friday for my niece birthday. Really enjoyed myself.

I had the swamp baked potato and it was good. The service was not up to par. It would also be nice to know that if you sit on the patio there is an automatic 18% gratuity added t your check.

Nice area,. Great customer service . Tried to patronize my people and we alway over charge. The prices for food and drinks are too expensive,. Turkey leg price twenty dollars plain with no sides, twenty two -twenty eight dollars if you get the stuffing. The bartender charges one dollar more for drinks you order at the bar and if you sit on the patio they charge a gratuity and call it a service fee for only two people. A first and last time visit.

The drinks were great! The service horrible husband and I sat outside and waited 20 min no over ever came to greet us or even offer a menu so we decided to go and get our own drinks and menu. Had our 1 drink and still no one ever came to even ask us nothing 40 min later we had our 1 drink and went across the street for food and service.

I've tried the Hennessy glazed Turkey Leg, stuffed dirty rice Turkey Leg, shrimp alfredo Turkey Leg, wings and the SIDEPIECE DRINK is to die for. Sunday brunch is scrumptious. Them collard greens off the charts.
