Always enjoyed coming to this place for lunch with co-workers. Great sushi every time. Never disappoint! Highly recommend especially lunch specials.
It is my favorite place in town. They had the best Spicy Ginger Margarita and a Salmon that are so good. Buttler cake to die for. It is comfortable and the attention are very nice. Great place for sushi too.
Amazing premium craft sushi and excellent service! Best sushi in Houston we have experienced this far. Recommend sitting at the sushi bar and instruct the chef to surprise you. Guarantee it will be followed by "keep it coming". Big plus ...Reasonable prices for the superior quality and service. Unmissable!
Great atmosphere and crowd! Food is spectacular and service is top notch. There's a private sunroom for special parties and the covered patio is a great place for happy hour.

Had a great date here with my love Joseph. We enjoyed the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. The service was excellent and our server went out of his way to bring us great food and drinks. We tried some new dishes and everything was extremely delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the beef tataki. The sashimi was very high quality fish as well.

came for houston restaurant week & was very impressed! omakase wasn’t my personal fav (imitation crab, egg, & asparagus as the middle), but everything else was phenomenal: fresh high quality fish, good atmosphere, and great service!

This place is amazing!!! We took a huge group for Mother’s Day and service couldn’t have been better. The food is fantastic and THEY’RE OPEN FOR LUNCH!! They do dine-in, take-out, and CATERING! They’re super convenient for all of the Energy Corridor folks looking for a great lunch spot. So quiet and great food and service.
Pot stickers delicious. Green beans best yet. The Firecracker roll was one of the better rolls I've ever esten. Then I took a picture of the last thing our party shared and it was delicious but I'm not sure what it was called. Lemon drop drink was divine. Service personal. All items plated pretty.

Everything at Rattan is five star. There’s a lot of parking. The staff loves working here, you can tell in how they go about their day in providing great service to very customer that comes in. The bar is excellent with a great selection of wines, beers and mixed drinks (from what I could see, of course 🤠). The menu is exceptional - I love the sushi and the short ribs - OMG! 😍🥰
Always perfect. Lemon drop martinis are perfection. Seaweed salads and citrus salmon were wonderful appetizers were excellent. Sushi rolls - we have tried too many to recall them all: divine! Dessert: ice cream with a raspberry sauce - yum (better than your think). Absolutely worth the trip. And during the week, the crowd is minimal.

Beautifully styled place with lots of different areas to sit, each with its own atmosphere. Decently broad menu without being too much; food is very good though not great the last couple of times I've been (a little surprising given how much others rave). Very friendly, good service and easy access with ample parking.
Rattan has the highest quality sushi in the Energy Corridor. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. It’s my go to spot every Friday night! The Pepper Blaster is my favorite roll! Very fresh and clean.
Very friendly service, great food, love Rattan. My partner loves the walnut shrimp, I love their sushis and crave their ama ebi or madai when they have them in their daily special. I miss the tuna bites they used to have 6-7 years ago but it is compensated by a great many choice on the menu
Went there for an official lunch with colleagues. The restaurant serves its food in 3 courses Lunch/Dinner. The Lunch is $20 per person and the dinner is $49 per person which is a bit pricy. I ordered miso soup as the first course. I ordered OMAKASE PLATE as the main course which is basically a sushi plate. It includes the Chef’s choice of nigiri and the chef’s special roll. I ordered MANGO PANNA COTTA in the end. The food was good and the service was good.
They have a wonderful potpourri of absolutely satiating food. I cannot underestimate how palatable their dishes are. Definitely take the time to go here, even if it means taking a rather torturous route during your day.

Pretty new eatery but was very clean and spacious which made it easy to social distance when we went on a Tues night. There are so many cocktails that looked great that I never had a chance to taste but would love to come back to. The menu in general is huge and the happy hour menu is also very extensive. I got the Rattan Abuti sushi flight and loved every single piece in there, especially the scallops and foie gras and Japanese snapper. I also got the Unagi don and loved the flavor of the eel. The portions for the main entrees were huge. The fried rice was a little bland without soy sauce. Service was very attentive and quick. Kitchen closes at 8:45
