Lupe is my favorite restaurant in the world. You're not in North Texas yet but I'm keeping the faith.. our waitress Nicole/Nicky? was great! The fajitas are just out of this world. They have great flavor and don't just taste like cooked meat....

First I just have to say - who would’ve thought coffee, chips and salsa would be a winning combo?!? Our first time having breakfast/brunch at Lupe’s and it was great! Good coffee, tacos, and burritos - and sopapillas. There are only 3 locations that do breakfast we were told - Shepherd, Bunker Hill and The Woodlands. Will definitely do this again. Oh! The manager and our waitstaff were the best - wish the level of customer service was more consistent throughout their stores. Merry Christmas 🎄

Walked in and was greeted by a super sweet girl named Libby. She helped us decide where to sit and told us about some of the specials going on. Decided with the bar and our bartender Caleb was awesome! We got the steak lupe with bacon and some margaritas. It's my boyfriend and i's first time here and we got a free mini appetizer !!! I highly recommend this location. Food was excellent and service from management to staff was awesome.

We had excellent service from Claudio! The beans and chips hit the spot as an hors d’oeuvre, and the grilled shrimp and tilapia were succulent. The apple burrito sealed the deal as dessert.

Food is great & has a unique flavor that separates itself from other Tex-Mex restaurants. The atmosphere is cool and will keep anybody busy, there's so many things to look at. The presentation of the food was great and everything from the salsa to the meal as spaced out well so you may enjoy each without feeling rushed. I enjoyed this place and will definitely go back again.

Delicious but pricey. The Grandioso fajitas combo for $63 is listed as enough food for 2-3 people but it was only enough food for a fat guy like me. You're better off ordering single platters, you get more food for your money. The service was good and the staff kept checking up on every table often. Lots of seating available even though it looks small when you first walk in. They have two patio areas in the back.

For my first night in Houston I was taken here and it was lovely. I had a great time. The staff was very nice and the food was very comforting. It's no fine dining but it made me happy. The cheese sauce was everything you want it to be and the steak in the fajitas was so tender.

Lupe's was one of the first places that I ate at when I first moved to Houston. I had tried tex-mex food elsewhere before, but having it IN Texas at Lupe's was a whole different thing. This place just has a special place in my heart. I'd go here with some of my closest friends, and we'd split fajita platters. Really glad I got to swing by this place again while I was visiting Houston.

This place is always yummy. The tortillas taste home made and are huge. This sounds silky but the only negative is that the home made Chios are too soft to scoop up the guacamole, the guacamole is so yummy! But, the chips break trying to scoop it. One of my favorite Tex meC locations (and I’m hard on them!!!!!)

Always delicious food! The shrimp was a little fishy but everything else was fantastic. Highly recommend the tamale and steak fajitas.

Fajitas are a definite here, though a little heavy on the w-sauce. Salsa is the right amount of roasted, without being overly smokey --10/10. Tortillas are burrito sized, which is so great. We had the crab and avocado appetizer, but I wouldn't recommend it. Very salty. Also, the puffy taco was just OK. It's made differently than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise, but definitely underdone and oil drippy. But! This place has great potential. We loved the fajitas, and I bet it's a matter of finding "your" dish.gping for the burrito next time. Service was exceptional, too.

We came here from Colorado and 3 of shared a fajitas platter. All the meats were so tender and juicy but the ribs omg chefs kiss. Only thing we disliked was the rice it tastes very cheap and like it was out of a box style rice. But that is our complaint definitely recommend

I use this location primarily to place large take out orders to feet 20-100 people for various customers of mine. They are always on time and the food is a hit. Thank you all for making my life easy! The guacamole is outstanding and I love the size of the tortillas as well.

Atmosphere was horrid seeing my server do an absolutely amazing job while the “managing partner” was waltzing around on his phone along with numerous other employees standing around doing nothing while my server could’ve probably used a hand. A tray of dirty plates was behind us the entire meal. Server had 4+ large tables and again was great, communicated with us the whole meal. Food was slow, but great, drinks were slow but good. Good service overall but mainly do to Jasmine.

BEST TX-MX EVER! Did I get attaboys from my out of town family, bringing them here. The bean dip kills. My fajita beef quesadillas looked meh but tasted so savory, I embarrassed myself and finished my plate before anyone else. No room for dessert. All five is were delighted by our choices. I'm coming back on my birthday. Upon first arrival, the place was the familiar hubbub of loud music and drinking patrons but we were sat in a quasi outside area all by ourselves initially. The Thursday night traffic on Shepherd wasn't as bad as expected. The next table to be seated was a young couple with a sleepy dachshund, no issues with pets. Went back last night, tried the green enchiladas, so disappointed. The Jack cheese was unnoticed, the chili was a small pond hidden under two of the three enchiladas, where were the flavors I expected in every fork load? They were busy but not slammed, we were seated immediately upon arrival (6:00pm). Service was attentive but even my wife's red enchiladas were dry enough for her to complain, a rarity. We hope our next visit will wow us again, when we order other entrees. Lupe Steak, 14oz, so my son had some steak to take home, he eyeballed me devouring three-quarters of it.
