We sat at the bar and had wonderful service with Katelyn! Two days in row! The food was so great we were thinking about it again the next day and had to go back to try more menu items. This restaurant gets packed at certain times as it seems to be very popular. Same owners as the new Miru Seafood (incredible fine dining) and they suggested we try Michiru and yes it is so wonderful. We tried multiple rolls and they’re so good you don’t have to add any soy sauce to them which is what we prefer. Very tastefully done.

The sushi was the best I’ve had in the Houston area! Be prepared to spend a couple hours here for dinner because the service is not especially fast but we’ll worth the wait.

I come to this place quite frequently, like to the point where my Apple Maps tells me how long it will take me to get to michru anytime I get in the car. The food is amazing and the staff is quite friendly. I am particularly fond of both the crispy rice and the bartender with the glasses. this restaurant has endless options of amazing food and sushi. The bar tender is also quite friendly and remembers regulars and how they like their drinks. Will be be continuing to come back.

I'm not a fan of sushi but I did enjoy the chicken tempura. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The fried rice was excellent but wish the waitress would have told us of the upcharge for it. I will definitely return and try something else.

Totally yummy! My new go-to place anytime I’m craving sushi. Everything I’ve tried (which is most menu items & specials) has been fresh & hits the tastebuds! Super friendly staff, especially the bartender, she seems to remember everyone & what they like. She’s a great mixologist. Even when crowded (most of the time) service & attitudes are nice! Will always be one of my faves.

The Texas, Spicy Girl and Triton rolls were our favorites. You really can't go wrong with just about any roll here. The servers and bartenders are also well trained and knowledgeable if you are looking for suggestions.

Went to have dinner last night and received the best service with Isaac. Drinks, recommendations and fast friendly service.
All of our rolls were good but the best roll goes to the Kraken Roll. All of the elements were perfect and spicy. Fried Cheesecake with vanilla ice cream, perfectly finished off dinner.
And we signed up with their rewards card at our table & our dinner was tonight was added.

Visited the restaurant for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Great parking lot. Place looked spotless. Masks are not required anymore but the staff is wearing them. I called in advance and was seated promptly. I started with the miso soup. Typical flavor and lots of tofu. So far so good. The sushi rolls I got were on the cooked side. I got their signature Michiru roll, pacific and Cheff signature rolls Each comes with 8 pieces which are big enough and worth the price. They have a huge sushi roll menu with tons of different options including spicy. Staff was attentive and I think the food was served without delays. I couldn't finish my plate because I got full quickly. Had to take home some leftovers. The place is small but It can accommodate people considerably. The food tasted fresh and the atmosphere was nice. They have a lot of drinking options. Sake, wine, cocktails and beer. Coming back for sure!

The only reason this rating is 4 star was because of the poor welcome we received while entering the restaurant. The hostess seemed very bothered that she had to seat us and was not welcoming at all.
Luckily, we had Manny as our waiter. He was able to make our dinner enjoyable and his customer service and dinner recommendations was superb.
Make sure to try the crab meat salad and the Triton 2.0!

I really like their sushi rolls. We have tried " High Tide Roll"; " Orange Tiger Roll, "Toro Special Roll" and " Kraken Roll". The rolls were a few dollars more than those of some other places, but better quality (with a piece of fish on top; not like some other cheaper places where the roll only has a token size of fish piece in the middle of the roll). The only thing, the place could lower the music a bit.

Great place to eat. Food is wonderful and fresh. We have a child with severe food allergies and they accommodate us every time so she can eat there as well. Ask for Nicole to be your server she is amazing!

Nikki was amazing!
She customized one of the best rolls we’ve ever had.
She also recommended a side of the tiger sauce to pair with it and gave my wife and I a great experience. Hopefully other servers know this combo so we can order again.

Michiru is always a delight to visit the atmosphere is calming the food is fresh and the wait staff are always very kind. Also a very classy place to take a date before you go see a movie, since the theater is a 2 minute walkaway in the same parking lot

Nice place with fresh sushi. What we like the most was toro tuna which is not very common. Pricey but good quality. Try suzuki special and tuna pizza. Enjoy
